Great covers for people who like a certain fit, if you do a couple of things first...
I didn't really like these covers during the first few days of use. However, after I did a few things, I came to like them a lot. My take...Ear comfort:These are made specifically for people who want to channel the audio into the ear canal. If you don't like covers that have a nub that sticks into the ear canal, you won't like these, so don't buy them. My wife is one of those people, and she thinks these are very uncomfortable. Also, when they arrive, the tips have a little piece of plastic inside them (presumably to hold the shape?). These add to the discomfort, so I carefully dislodged them and threw them in the trash. The nubs that anchor the covers into the ear canal now have more "give", and they're more comfortable.Sound:Before ordering, I read in other reviews that the higher frequencies are dulled a bit. Well, it's true. Some sharpness is lost on that end of the spectrum, but it's not terrible. Without covers at all, my AirPods would only have respectable bass response if I made sure there was a good seal between the AirPods and my ear canal. With any movement, this seal would inevitably become broken, and the bass would practically disappear. These covers fix that problem. Due to the nub that goes into the ear canal, the seal stays intact, and as a result, the bass and midrange sounds stay rich.Putting them on & taking them off:When I first received them, they were stiff, which made it hard to put them on my AirPods. Since you can't charge your AirPods with them on, I wasn't looking forward to repeatedly taking them off and then struggling to put them back on. However, over the next few days, I was delighted to discover that they loosen up considerably. In fact, when I got a second set of them, the first thing I did was patiently apply the stiff covers to my AirPods, and then I didn't take them off for two or three days. After that, they were stretched enough for me to be able to remove and put back on very quickly. If you aren't willing to be without your AirPods while the covers loosen up (since you would have to take them off to charge the AirPods once the batteries drain), then they will also loosen up over the next week as you repeatedly put them on and take them off, but the process will be a little frustrating in the meantime.Customer service:I ended up with a tear on the back side of one of my covers. Since I hadn't noticed it right away, I'm honestly not certain if it was there when I received them or if I accidentally tore them while trying to apply them to my AirPods while they were still stiff (this is why I urge patience while applying them during the break-in period). I reached out to ACOUS customer service, and after sending them a picture of the tear that they requested, they had no problem sending me a new set. So, I can say that the company is responsive and stands behind the product.Bottom line: 4.5/5 stars (since you can't do half stars, I gave them the bump-up). I knocked off a little for the higher frequencies being muted somewhat. I gave this feedback to the company. They acknowledged that this was a challenge while trying to create a product that channels the audio directly into the ear canal. For me, the trade-off to preserve a good bass response is worth it. I hope at some point their testing will reveal a way to upgrade the design to bring back some of the higher frequencies. If they do, I'll be in line to buy them. I hope this was helpful to some.

Made my Razer Hammerheads more comfortable
I was skeptical when I bought these because I use Razer Hammerhead earbuds instead of Airpods, but I figured I would give them a try because they were about the same shape, and I was not disappointed. I have small ears and I can only wear soft-tipped earbuds, but these are my favorite earbuds so I was determined to make them fit comfortably.Pros:-They came in yellow so they matched the earbuds ^~^-They fit the earbuds perfectly despite them not being Airpods-They made my earbuds more comfortable to wear-They help my earbuds stay securely in my ears-Amplified the bass slightlyCons:-I need to take them off to put the earbuds back in the charging case (which I don't mind too much, i have a carrying case on a keychain to hold them)-They made the sound slightly muddier (but not too much, still good sound quality)-Noise cancellation isn't great-Blocks the vents on the earbuds for the bass (which was my own fault since I'm not using them for Airpods, a little surgery with an Xacto knife fixed it easily)-Price is a bit steep considering you only get a single pair of coversOverall I definitely recommend these if you have anti-Airpod ears like I do, they make hard-tipped earbuds so much more comfortable, and chances are they'll most likely fit other brands of earbuds too. They're a bit pricey for only a single set, but if you have a favorite pair of earbuds that you desperately want to make comfortable like I did, these things are definitely worth it.

Comfortable for the first 30 minutes. Does not "improve sound quality" AT ALL.
I was excited to finally get some deep rich sound without having to hold the earpods/airpods into the proper position to get that level of richness in my music. After using them for an hour. My ears started getting aches from the hard plastic insert the covers have inside to "channel" the music into your ear.I took out the insert to see if it helped with the aches. Just a small amount. But the sound quality was still the same. I examined the plastic insert and noticed it doesn't really fit snuggly onto the earpods/airpods speaker end. The silicone edge where the little insert sits in front us provides a seal between the two but doesn't enhance the sound experience. I positioned it many times back and forth, pulling and adjusting it, but none really improved the sound other than helping me keep them in my ears and playing at a steady sound quality. (Not as deep a bass that I'm used to without any cover)I just wasn't impressed by the covers. The only thing that i was happy about was the fact they wouldn't fall out of my ear anymore, but discomfort after an hour of listening to music doesn't make for a "better experience"Most of the people reviewing these will hype them up cause they probably only use them from minutes at a time.I draw, and do design work, so listening to music while working is a must to keep the flow of creativity coming. This is my personal opinion and description of my first couple days using them after they arrived. Which totals about 7-8 hours of continuous use each day for a total of 16 hours of use.Don't let my opinion affect your choice to try them yourself. Just know, keep the packaging tear free to possibly return them after being disappointed.
