e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm, Grape

Honestly... I only purchased this to hit my same-day shipping total. I figured I'd use it eventually. So let me tell you how genuinely surprised I am that I like this lip balm as much as I do. And I'm not a lip balm person. Nor a fruity-cosmetics person. But this stuff is just... actually good. First of all, it's genuinely moisturizing. I have chronically dry, cracked, flaky lips that I'm always JUST keeping at bay. They have actually improved dramatically using this product. I never made a conscious effort to use it regularly - I just liked it enough to do so without realizing it. Then I woke up one day and noticed my lips weren't still garbage. It's the right amount weight - without feeling like you've globbed on petroleum jelly. It's the right amount of "sticky" to stay put - without feeling like you're peeling your lips apart to speak. I use it overnight, and when I wake up in the morning, I can still tell it's there - without feeling like there's something to wipe off my face. The aroma is actually pleasant - without demanding your attention every moment. It's definitely noticeable - but it's not as intense as products that I've tried in the past. It's not so strong that your mouth is watering at an overpowering sour/fruit smell. But it's actually nice enough that I find myself pursing my lips toward my nose to periodically get a sniff. 😂 I'm a regular e.l.f. customer. I appreciate the brand in general (good products, prices, ethics, PETA/Leaping Bunny certified, etc., etc.). But I figured... it's lip balm - it'll be fine but... whatever. And yet... I'm reaching for this every day. Multiple times a day. And not because of the rebound-dryness, lip-addiction that has been reported by other brands - just because it's enjoyable. Great product. Great price. Great company. Great surprise.

I picked up the e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm in Blueberry mostly because the price was so good, and it ended up being a really nice everyday lip product. The first thing I noticed was the texture. It goes on smoothly and feels moisturizing without being overly thick or sticky. Some glossy lip products can feel heavy, but this one is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. I also really like the applicator. The squeeze tube makes it easy to control how much product comes out, and it’s quick to apply when I’m on the go. No fingers or extra tools needed. The shine is another big plus. It gives my lips a healthy, glossy look without looking over-the-top, and the Blueberry version has a pleasant, subtle scent that isn’t overpowering. For a lip balm, I was pleasantly surprised by how long the moisture lasts. I don’t feel like I have to constantly reapply it, and my lips stay soft for quite a while after using it. For the price, this is an easy product to recommend. It’s affordable, moisturizing, easy to use, and gives just the right amount of shine. So I bought this because I am really coming to love elf products. I don’t wear much colored makeup, I am however a huge skincare junkie and very picky about the quality of my products. If they irritate my skin or don’t work well, or sometimes if they are just overpriced and a less expensive product works, I won’t recommend them. I will drop money on an amazing product, but I find very few really expensive products to be worth the money. I’ve used it all from very expensive Sephora to Walmart. I’d rather my skin look clear and smooth than be wearing foundation and colored lips and eyes. elf products have really been impressing me, and I use the more expensive lip balm that this is supposed to be a dupe for. I do love the expensive product so I thought I’d see how elf compares and here it is. This lip balm is great! It moisturizes nicely and smells and tastes good. Its moisturizing effect lasts as long as the other brand. It is a very worthy duplicate. I will keep these for sure, I am delighted at the price. The tube comes half full (by design) but at this price, cannot complain. It is not an exact quality duplicate of the pricier lip balm and it almost feels the same but you can detect the difference. However, it is very nice. And 100% it moisturizes well and feels nice. I didn’t find any negatives or issues and while I still want to keep one of the pricey ones on hand, I would buy several of the elf balms in different flavors rather than buying many flavors of the pricey one because these are THAT good. For this price I can keep one of every flavor, something I would not do for the pricier one, for that one I choose which ONE I want. elf is affordable to own them all. This product is very nice and I am glad I tried it, I am very impressed with elf. I find that for dupes elf is not exactly the same but I have never been disappointed with an elf product, I also use their brow gel and eye makeup remover. I look forward to trying more elf products, and I am definitely going to use this lip balm. Great product, great price, feels good and keeps my lips nicely moisturized without being too greasy or drying. So worth the money and seems to be very good quality.

I bought it for travel and love the scent, as well as the fact that it doesn't ooze out It has a pretty thick consistency, but it feels nice, gives a very glossy finish with a subtle tint of color, and leaves my lips looking nourished.

I buy a LOT of lip products and I really realllllly like these lip balms. They go on nice and smooth and are not oily. They are cushion-y and slightly thick so they actually stick to your lips without feeling sticky, and they don't slide around so they stay on longer than most which means you don't have to keep re-applying often during the day. The scents very nice but not overpowering (my favourite is melon but they're all good). They are sheer/colourless, so if you want pigment, these are not for you.

Love this product! It is compact. Not too sticky. The scent and taste is wonderful and the slight hue to it is perfect.

Small tube yes, but a little goes a long way. Love the subtle scent. Not tacky. Appears to be moisturizing. No real color on the lips, just a bit glossy. I keep one in the car, my purse, by my desk, etc.

I love E.L.F in general, I bought this lip balm for my daughter, myself and my sister, we all loved it! Smells so good!! I’ve tried different flavors and they’re all amazing, looks like lip gloss, feels like lip balm and keeps the lips moisturized. Also it might be tiny but we use it everyday and it lasts a while, highly recommend!
