Rubies Thomas and Friends Deluxe 3D Thomas The Tank Engine Costume

My 2 year old loves trains. This is an easy costume to put on and is made very well! If your toddler loves trains and you don't want that hassle of putting a costume on, this is for you!!:)

Our 4-yr-old wanted to be Thomas for Halloween, so I ordered this costume. Our son is short for his age at 37.5 inches tall, so according to the Rubies size chart, I ordered the toddler size (said for 36-39 inches tall). It's a little too short for him, coming to about his hip. I could barely get it over his head, and the collar is definitely too small to fasten around his neck (there is velcro closure at the back of the collar). Like another reviewer said, there are no fasteners on the sides, and because I can't fasten the neck, it pulls down and sort of hangs low in the front and short at the back. I will have to figure something out to fix that. The hat is plenty big, and I would think would be very large for a 1- or 2-year-old. The costume will work for our son, but I probably should have ordered the x-small size, though maybe it would have been too big. This is an issue with the sizing chart for Rubies, not the costume itself.It arrived quickly, a day earlier than estimated. There was a small discolored spot on the underside, but it doesn't show and the costume appears new. It's a very cute costume for Thomas fans.

With most costumes being $25-$35. I think the $17 I paid for it, is fair. I did open the back and stuffed it with cardboard and paper then added velcro for easy access for the future. Took maybe 30 minutes of time.

Our 3 1/2 year old grandson son loved his custome for Halloween! He wore it all day at his pre-school parade and then after to Trick or Treat with family and friends!

The picture was cute, but it didn't fit my son. He normally wears a size 2T, but it was too small for him.

This looks cheap and runs VERY SMALL!My 2 year old is and always has been in the 10th percentile for weight and height and it was super small on him!

I purchased this item for my two year old to wear for Halloween. It was exactly has described. He loves it! It works really well for him because it just slips over his head.

The costume was slightly small. For its price it's not worth it. I had to stuff the bottom part and Thomas face to make it look decent plus it had a tear at the back which then I used to stuff it. My boy was pleased with it but with that price I could have bought a better costume.

The actual body of the costume is great! It fits my two year old perfectly and is very cute for Thomas the train lover. The hat on the other hand, is too big for mine and my husbands head. I will have to alter it for it to even come close to fitting my son.
