I got 4 cartilage piercings which hurt a lot. This lubricates them and helps with healing. Great ingredients. Don’t use too much or it can grit up. But I reordered when I used the first tube because it helps.

I am reluctant to admit that I have done almost all my piercings on my own at home! I will say that I have done my best to order professional tools in order to help me make those piercings safe and to ensure they last without any worry of infection. Most of that comes from making sure I am prepped with sanitation and cleaning products for the jewelry itself, my hands (that are in gloves of course), and the part of my body I am piercing. Aftercare is just as important if not more important so having a good product to use to keep my new piercing clean as it heals is EVERYTHING! I really like these. Typically I have a thinner liquid that requires cotton balls and would be the standard bottle you would add to your order at Claire's. These are different. It's a gel for one and come in a tube that I have literally been able to squeeze right to the jewelry, front and back and has made it very easy and mess free. The gel is obviously thicker and I find it to be incredibly soothing and it gives an almost cooling effect. It has helped my ears heal quite well and I have absolutely no complaints. Works great! I definitely recommend!!

I did not feel any of the effects of the gel, but it did help with clean out the ear piercing. I do think that the product will last a couple of months. The only grape that I have is that you will need to wipe it off afterwards with a cotton pad and water because it did leave around the piercing crusty.

This is so worth getting, especially if you are like me and like getting piercings. I recently doubled pierced my nose on one side and this comes in serious handy. The nose rings I have in right now are the ones with small balls at the end to keep them from falling out. Anytime I accidentally hit my nose or wipe my nose and almost take the ring out. It hurts so bad, like it was just re-pierced. I just put this on it and it doesnt completely take the pain away, but It does dramatically reduce the pain until you dont notice it anymore. My sister has a nose ring too, but she is prone to getting bumps on hers; she put this on it and has not seen the bump since she put it on her nose. 5 out of 5 from both of us.

This piercing aftercare gel comes in a convenient tube with a thin dispenser that allows you to apply gel directly to the pierced area. I really appreciate this product design because I can control where to apply it much easier than a spray. When I use saline sprays on my ears it's pretty irritating because it gets inside my ear. I don't have this problem with the gel. As for the effectiveness itself I didn't find a ton of difference between that and my other disinfectant spray. But the ease of use makes this much better in my opinion. I had no irritation or allergic reaction to the ingredients either, which is a plus.

I got a lobe pierced not too long ago, and I've been using this product for aftercare. I like how this bottle is shaped. The elongated spout makes it easy to apply the gel onto the lobe. I don't have to dab cotton balls or swabs afterwards, or worry about the lint catching onto the earring or getting stuck. I was told not to touch the piercing until it was healed, and by using the bottle when the area is itchy or throbs, I can follow my piercing artist's instructions to the letter.Now, I'm not sure if it's because of this gel, but my lobe doesn't hurt as much as the first one I got a while ago. I didn't have this product then, and that lobe hurt for a very long time.So, overall, I believe in this product. It helps in caring for my new piercing easy. I don't have to touch the lobe with my hands, and I feel confident that the area is clean and is healing as it should.I recommend this gel.

I usually just stick to the saline solution from my piercer but my recent cartilage piercing needed more pampering. It was looking red and angry, possibly because I'm a wild sleeper and kept accidentally rolling over on it, oops. This aftercare gel is gentle, doesn't sting, smells and feels cooling. I have not had any bumps or keloids form at all, but some days my ear is still slightly sore so I'm still using this gel everyday and hoping my piercing heals fully without any issues. This also seems to be helpful after wearing cheap earrings, glad to have it on hand.
