Would 100% Recommend
I’m a beginner hair dyer, and this is the most of my hair I have ever dyed before. However, it was very easy to use and we somehow managed not to stain anything. After applying both colors, we put a plastic bag over my hair and blow dried on low for 15 minutes. It worked great, and turned out very pink and vibrant. I used the violet gem and raspberry twist colors. My one complaint is that the purple turned out a bit more pinkish than I was expecting, however it was still a very nice color. I would definitely recommend using gloves and covering your work surface, since it was very staining. You also have to watch out for transfer when it’s still wet, at least for the first day or two. Fortunately, once it was dry, it didn’t transfer any color onto my white pillowcase, even on the first night of having it. It also seemed gentle enough on my hair, and left it in pretty good condition. Also- if you don’t have a specialized brush for applying the color, a toothbrush comes in pretty handy :)

This stuff is to dye for!!
TL,DR: this stuff is legit, works on unbleached (but lightened) hair, it’s an alcohol-free aloe vera based formula, AND you get two bottles for the price of one!! That’s right — 2 for 1!My light brown hair asked for a colorful makeover. The last time I had dyed it was half a decade ago, and before then I kept going back and forth between carrot-top and tomatohead. I figured this time, should I embody a beetroot? Challenged accepted! And thus began this mission.Because my hair cannot handle bleach, I researched what is the best way to transform unbleached hair to purple. The first step was to lighten the hair a shade or two. I stumbled upon a variety of natural methods, and ended up doing a homemade paste of sorts using 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and honey, leaving it on for 30 minutes before washing. I applied it twice — waited about two weeks between application. It made my hair a dark orangey copper the first time, then slightly more golden the second time. Nostalgia almost convinced me to stay with that color, but no… The mission was to get that bloody beetroot! The next step was finding a dye that works on unbleached hair. I had used “Wildfire” flavored Manic Panic the last time I dyed my hair, to obtain that spicy candy red. It didn’t let me down before, so why not go with that brand again, right? Ha! Right. It was quite the letdown. The concoction was more like a color depositing conditioner that didn’t deposit any color.Such deception… but! My determination superseded that feeling, so back to the drawing board I went. After researching legit semi-permanent dyes, I stumbled upon a few, one of them being Adore. I was leaning towards Arctic Fox at first, but after reading almost all the Amazon reviews on this product, I opted for their Purple Rage and Truly Red.I first applied the purple to most of my hair, then applied red to the bottom portion, the bangs, and some of the front strands of hair. I twisted each portion of hair like a cinnamon bun, covered them with a plastic cap, and “put them in the oven” by wrapping a heating pad around the cap (one review suggested to apply heat and mentioned using the heating pad instead of a hairdryer). Because I didn’t want to relive the panic Manic Panic gave me, I left the dyes on for about four hours to ensure proper color absorption. I then unwrapped and uncoiled the hair and washed the dyes out with only conditioner and not so warm but not cold water. And…As you can see from the photos, this stuff really works! To my surprise, the dyes actually didn’t leave my bathtub looking like the aftermath of La Batalla del Vino. The purple dye did leave a few small streaks, but they came off completely right after I cleaned the tub. Also, I didn’t realize at first, but this dye has no alcohol! I avoid any and every hair product with any variation of alcohol in it. My hair appreciates sobriety and hydration. The aloe vera in this formula provides the kind of hydration my hair unexpectically needed from a hair dye. It’s also worth mentioning the package comes with two bottles of dye for the price of one — same size bottle as Arctic Fox, but at half the cost! In this economy, that is most definitely a win. I ended up with four bottles altogether. Just one bottle of each color sufficed. Even after using so much of the one bottle of purple dye, I still had plenty left over. I put some in a separate bottle, added conditioner, mixed them up, and did the same in another bottle with the red.Although it ended up looking like a female Magneto and not so much a beetroot, I’d still consider this mission accomplished!I’m dyeing to try out other colors when I bluelieve I’m redy — maybe in another five years, maybe sooner! So, yeah… 10/10 would recommend!

Great budget hair dye option - only works on lightened hair however
I decided to try this hair dye after hearing good things online, and overall I wasn't too disappointed. I previously had manic panic voodoo blue over my natural dark blonde hair, which resulted in a nice dark bluish green. I wanted something lighter, so after bleaching my hair over the manic panic and being left with a a light seafoam green/teal, I used the adore hair dye in Emerald. The color was initially vibrant emerald green as shown in the first photo. The second photo is a little under a month and a half after the initial dye job.As you may be able to see, it's faded more towards the roots where I previously had a few inches of natural hair, versus the bottom where it went over what was left of the manic panic. I actually quite like the shade of the faded dye, and it didn't fade very patchy at all, but I have to admit that it doesn't hold up compared to the manic panic amplified in terms of longevity. When I touched up the dye recently, I didn't rebleach my roots and I found out that it didn't cover my natural hair, not even a slight tint. For reference, the last photo is my hair after several months without touching up the aforementioned manic panic. I admit part of the staying power might be attributed to bleached hair being more porous, so the fading will inevitably happen quicker, but not only did the manic panic stay put longer, it covered my natural hair with zero issue.Overall, this brand of hair dye seems great for a budget option, and will probably work well if you like to change up your hair color more frequently. Proceed with caution if using on natural hair however, because in my experience it only worked on bleached hair. If you want a dye that will not budge (even after two bleach baths...) and has a bit more coverage power, I'd suggest the manic panic amplified line :)I should also mention that I only needed one bottle for two full head applications with the hair length pictured, and still have leftover dye. (Note, I do have the sides shaved, and relatively thin hair).

The only brand of colour I’ve worn for over a decade!
I have been wearing Adore’s orange blaze for over a decade and it is the only colour I wear! I am able to get over 8 weeks of intense colour from Adore. The colour is rich and beautiful and it doesn’t stain the bathtub. Even if it does stain clothes and bedding, the stains disappear after laundering.Kindly note that if your hair is a dark colour, you will need to bleach it first to get the desired results.

Not bad
I just coloured my hair yesterday so I am not sure if this colour will wash out fast or not. I also coloured over another burgundy/red colour that was fading. So far I really do like it. It is more rich than the one I used before (I think it was some type of Amber with adore). I hope that I can get a few washes out of it. I am a curly girl so I dont have to wash my hair as often. We will see. Also because the product is not that thick it makes a mess and your tub will look like a crime scene but it washes out well. Going under heat I think is the key. I stayed under for 25 minutes. I think that may help with the longevity. Time will tell.
