Good Quality Workbook for Basic Revision
The book goes through each topic for year 1. It gives questions for recalling knowledge that doesn't require you to apply your knowledge. There are some exam-styled questions that require you to apply your knowledge towards the end of the workbook but not many.

No nonsense workbook
No nonsense workbook that is ideal for practising exam questions, of which there is a very good selection to get your teeth into. Plenty of tips along the way and answers included. Used with the companion revision book, and you have a very effective combo. Definitely recommend.

Another high quality exam practice workbook (plus answers!) from CGP, this book is covering A-Level & AS Biology. The book is great for your students/children to study independently as they can refer to the answers when they have finished, so at the end they can go back and see if there is any areas they need to work on.

I'm not sure of the questions are exactly like the exam, so don't depend on lots of content based questions and make sure to revise application a lot as well. Other than that its a good quality and well structured aid for revision.

Excellent Opportunity to get some practice in.
Product arrived in good condition; it is a 94-page semi hard cardboard covered booklet. It’s split into 4 four topics: Biological Molecules, Cells, Exchange & Transport and Genetic Information & Variation. These are then broken-down further e.g. in Biological Molecules you have Biological Molecules 1, Biological Molecules 2, Biological Molecules 3 and More Biological Molecules. In addition to these, you have a small section containing mixed questions.Within each of the sections you have a raft of exam style questions and against each is the mark attributed to it. Everything is laid out clearly and there’s plenty of room to write the answers. There are also exam tips allow the way.At the beginning of the book you have a page on “Exam Advice” and at the back are all the answers.This Exam Practice Workbook gives the student plenty of practice on the type of questions they’re likely to face in the real exam.I think this Workbook is pretty good value at £5.81.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.
