If you have basic common sence and baking skills, this is the system for you.
Bought this as a random gift for my wife. Her first cake using the system turned out magnificent. She was happy and proud of the results using this system, and is probably one of the best investments I have made recently to make her happy. She made roughly two cakes per week after receiving this, and even has our adult kids asking her to provide the birthday cakes for our grand kids.

Not all it's crack up to be
I have tried making 3 different cakes using three different types of icing. The only benefit I got out of the frost form was my cake layers were straight. I tried using the different methods of applying the final coat of icing, including tempuring the icing. After let the cakea sit in the freezer 24 hour, I still had to apply the final coat manually because the icing stuck to the frost form rather than the cake

I have never made a straighter, more beautifully covered cake
I was so hesitant to buy this because it is a lot of money to spend on a product that can only do one size cake. I finally gave in and bought one. Turns out, I LOVE IT!!! I have never made a straighter, more beautifully covered cake than the one I make with my new Frost Form! It does what it says it will and more. If you are on the fence, thinking maybe you can do a mock up in your kitchen, just buy the Frost Form. It is so easy to use and it seems to be made with quality components so it should be durable and stand up to making many, many cakes. It is easy to use and easy to clean up afterward. I know I will use this many, many times and I will use it for every cake I make of this size. The reason I only gave it 4 stars? The price and the fact that it can only do one size of cake. If you buy the 6" one, there is no way to make an 8" cake with it and vice versa. I do NOT like the thought of having to buy several highly specialized tools to have in my kitchen. It gets expensive and it takes up room to store 2 or 3 things that all do EXACTLY the same thing, just in a different size. Overall, I still recommend that you buy this. Get one in the size/shape you make most often and you will never regret it!

I can’t wait until another shape is on sale!
I’ve had so much fun playing with this - recently the wafers went on sale at the craft store, so I’ve really gotten to get good at using the form. Really sleek outcomes, and easy if you follow the steps and stay patient. I’m honestly not sure if I’m supposed to, but I put the whole setup through the dishwasher after I finish with it and haven’t had any issues.

Some things are a bit off....
Some have commented there wasn't enough space and I agree. First of all, the plastic ring is not sharp enough to cut through your cakes edges. The one on their website offers a stainless steel one and a very thin, flexible base liner that goes on top of the main base liner. The thin flexible base liner assists on removing your cake from the main, sturdy base liner when you are removing the cake from the mold. The kit they are selling on Amazon does not include this. Secondly, the spacing. The reason the spacing might not be enough is the product may have not been made by the specifications thus, yielding a wider cake using the plastic cake cutter. If this is your problem, I suggest using a knife to trim your cake a little smaller. It's either manufactured wrong, or the plastic cutter is too thick. I really wished I would have bought the product directly from the website. If you go to their website, you will see a stainless steel ring. That steel ring has got to be less thick than the plastic ring that is sold in this product on Amazon. I am really disappointed in this version. I may buy a steel ring so that the edges are sharp enough to trim the cake and will be much thinner leaving more room between the product and the cake.

It’s great! 😊
I LOVE this!!! I was worried because it’s not like the original but for the cost and what is included you don’t need the other things!! Made an amazing cake! Just remember the liner has a plastic liner you need to remove before you use it or the cake will stick
