On first taste i thought these coffee beans are ok was . Fast forward a few weeks and i am on my 4th packet.Really nice with a great aftertaste. i make it quite strong and in a french press.I have lost count of the different brands i have tried with decaf beans but these i will stick with. It is expensive but such is life :)

This makes a very pleasant coffee. The beans themselves are very dark, black not brown, and there’s a crisp and slightly nutty aroma to them, but as typical for a decaf, there’s not a lot of flavour punch to go with the colour. It’s not completely insipid, like some decaf can be if pretty much everything has been washed out of it, but instead this is more of a middle-of-the-road everyday brew, the kind of thing I’d expect from a supermarket-branded but non-decaf coffee.It’s hard to be objective about it, but I do think I can tell that this coffee is decaf, from how I feel an hour or two after drinking it. It’s not caffeine-free, but there’s none of the unwanted extra excitement I can get if I make a coffee too strong.The packaging is simple, and not quite the posh style you expect when a 250g bag is priced at over a tenner. The freshness seal is very standard, the resealable top is OK rather than great, and it feels surprisingly ordinary for the price tag.If these beans had managed to keep just a bit more flavour through the decaf’ing process, and if the price had been a bit more reasonable at time of writing, I’d have given them five stars.

I decided to take a gamble on an unknown brand (well, I did some research on their other coffee blends to which they had rave reviews) and I am astounded at the quality! My bag was roasted on the 11/12/2023. I have never received a fresher bag than this from Amazon. I really hope this isn’t a one-off and I will now try their 1 kilo version. Wish me luck!

I had this on subscription, but over the last 6 months the price has increased by 33%. At the same time the taste is weaker and I need more beans. I'll be switching brands.

I am really surprised at all the positive reviews of this decaf coffee. To me it barely tastes of coffee and it doesn’t even smell nice. I’ve made sure the first impression wasn’t wrong by making another pot a few days after the first - but, sadly, my impression didn’t improve at all. Glad I didn’t buy 1 kilo of it!

I tried a few different brands of decaf coffee beans and so far this is the best tasting. Usually decaf beans are a sad reflection of how coffee should taste, but somehow these manage to be pretty good.

Great decaf, very smooth you can’t tell it’s a decaf :)
