Well-designed and cleanly manufactured stainless fittings. The only thing to note, is that the barb edges are really sharp, which is excellent for hose retention and seal, but removal of hoses can become a problem, with the sharp edges slicing up the inside of the hose. I'm using these with 3/8" fuel line hose in a turbo PCV oil catch can system exposed to alternating vacuum and turbo pressures. Perfect for the job.

My 2005 Jacuzzi finally sprung leak when the plastic fitting connecting the freeze protection loop to the heater. Most pool & spa stores either didn't have the part, or were charging $20-25 plus S&H. The fitting looks great, was a fraction of the cost, and was easy to install (other than having to contort myself to work behind the control panel). Be sure to wrap the threads with teflon tape to ensure no leaks!

This is a real nice fitting with only one issue; the barb edges are super sharp. The 1/2" MPT fit perfectly, and the 5/8" hose barb was very snug, but not too tight, inside a 5/8" ID hose. I am using it on a drain for a post water heater filter. While hand screwing in the fitting into the filter base, I was holding the fitting by the barbed end. As the pipe thread tightened, so too did I tighten my grip on the barbed end. No doubt, my grip slipped a bit because I got small paper-type cuts in a couple of places on my fingers as they slid around the super sharp edges of the barbs.
