Learning + Minecraft = Genius Idea!
If you have an 8-year-old boy who’s into Minecraft (and really, who doesn’t?), this workbook is absolutely brilliant! It takes the creativity and excitement of Minecraft and combines it with educational activities like math and design technology. The tasks are engaging and cleverly designed to make learning fun while tapping into their love for the game. I can’t wait to dive into it with my son, he’s already excited to get started! Great and well balanced
This is great, some good work on different elements of nature in the book then at least one project per chapter that builds on that idea like growing food in cold climates and genetics project on pandas.

Piqued interest for a while
I got this for my 10 year old son, who at the moment has phases of what he is interested in. He used to be quite avidly in to Minecraft, but now enjoys things with a bit more fast-paced challenge to them. He sat down and read through the first chapter of the book, and started building out the exercise, but like the main character in the book, didn't exactly plan things but threw himself in to it. I think if your child is a good reader (i.e. reading is easy, which it is for my son), and you have them at the stage that they aren't experts in Minecraft, then this is going to be a really god hit. At this stage they would learn and enjoy the learning. However, I think for my son, he is slightly too far in to the game, so the challenge just wasn't quite there enough to fully capture his interest. Possibly it would be good to do in groups with slightly younger children with an adult walking them through the exercises.

Perfect for enquiring minds.
A book that is well presented and does what it says it will do. My grandson spent hours with it reading, experimenting, learning and achieving. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
