Excellent for fruit flies and gnats
We’ve had a few fruit flies and gnats - just enough to be annoying - over the past few years and have tried the typical red wine and/or apple cider vinegar in a covered wine glass remedies to trap them but this method has been largely unsuccessful. I recently saw an ad for this STEM product at a very reasonable price and decided to give it a try. I set it up before a long weekend away and upon my return, found that it had trapped at least a dozen tiny flying pests…much more than I ever thought were in the house! See the photo for proof. I do recommend this product for these tiny pests.

Catches Flying Insects w/o Noise
I immediately opened this and plugged it into an available outlet. I checked about an hour later--as I forgot all about it, and there were already 2 flys or some type of flying insect. They could not go anywhere. I feel secure knowing this will catch more. I think I'll move it to different locations weekly or daily to see where the insects are mostly. At night, the night light is not overly bright. Then again, it depends where you place it, I guess. There is no smell, so that's a great plus!

In a nutshell: doesn’t work!
I have an invasion of flies in my kitchen and this product has been plugged in non stop ever since I got it about a week ago. I counted 1(!) fly per 24 hr span. Seriously?! I caught more flies with a melted slurpy that I purposefully left out over night! Even went so far as to put a dirty takeout container right underneath this trap. - Nothing! It’s almost as if this thing repels flies rather than attracting them. To put the icing on the cake I found a moskito landing right on my leg. Want to guess where it didn’t land? Correct! Not on this trap or anywhere near it. I don’t know how this made it past product testing. If it worked, it would be decent looking, easy to use and convenient because the sticky mess is hidden behind the light; but it does NOT work. I truly believe that these few flies were just unlucky and coincidentally decided to be at the wrong spot. Not even close to what was advertised. As is, this really isn’t worth the money. I guess I’ll use it as my new sticky nightlight for the kitchen.

Mission failed successfully
At first, I was about to return it because it didn't get the intended target. What it did get was other stuff that was flying around, so mission failed successfully?

Catches bugs, but not enough
Catches bugs, but not enough. I put them in areas of intrusion, and they caught a few, but I am not impressed.
