Great product!!
This works great for monitoring our two freezers in the garage! About two weeks ago we found our main deep freeze in the garage didn't close or seal right for whatever reason. We left for a couple hours and came back and everything was almost totally thawed out and filled with ice. Either the door didn't close, or the compressor stopped... Don't know. But I wanted something I could remotely monitor the internal temperature of this, and the freezer of our vertical freezer/fridge next to it. This was priced good, and seemed to have pretty decent reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. This just fits the bill perfectly and have to say I'm pretty impressed so far. It reads very accurate, within a half degree of an expensive, precision calibrated temp probe I have. Very easy to set up and the magnetic displays are bright, good contrast, and easy to read. I love I can see temps for both freezers quickly at a glance. The best part though, is it's app functionality and data monitoring and alarm. The app is easy to use, intuitive, and has tons of data, with graph for monitoring over time. You can set alerts sent to the app if the temp rises over a certain temp for a specified time. Great to have peace of mind always being able to see the temp instantly and get an alert of something isn't right so you don't lose an entire freezer of expensive food.I guess some people leave bad reviews for the app and setup, but maybe they're just not tech savvy or it's too overwhelming for them. Who knows, but if you're at all good with modern tech, setup and customizing everything is a cinch. Highly recommend!

Awesome, works great.
Too many negative reviews for such a really good thermometer. I bought this set that came with the hub and 2 thermometers. You can connect up to 30 sensors on one hub. I am now using 4 sensors. Install the app. If u get a message about an update then download it. Follow the directions and connect to your home wifi , 2.4 ghz only is supported. Once that is done move on to connecting the sensor. Open the app and click the plus sign in top right corner. Use search bar for this sensor. It will show a tiny picture of it on the app if you selected the right one. You will get a message to keep phone close to sensor while connecting. Once it is found u will need to depress the side button on the sensor one quick time for it to finish its connection and make sure your bluetooth is on your phone. In settings on the app you will see Remote View, click it. Next screen will show device and the word Bound. Click on Bound this will allow it to connect to your wifi through the hub. Setup is really simple. If I can get these to work in less than 5 minutes u can to. You can rename the sensor and adjust min and max Temps for alerts. Along with how long it has to be at or above the alert level u set before it sends u an alert. I am using these to monitor 3 deep freezers and in one refrigerator with no issues at all. All refrigerators and freezers have different seals and with all of mine I was able to pull the seal loose from the door and ran the cord under the seal and into the unit for a cleaner look. I am not a fan of a cord showing but it beats having batteries exposed to constant sub zero Temps and failing frequently. I have played around with the alert settings and they have not once failed for an alert to my phone. My hub is mounted up high in my garage. It fit perfectly in the outlet for the garage door opener in the ceiling. If u mount it behind the fridge or freezer it will more than likely get a weak signal. I am pleased with these and I do recommend them. The hub does not have a built in battery backup and needs to stay plugged in to constant power. The app is free and has no monthly fees. Lots of features in the app and easy to navigate through. Wish I had these on my freezers before I lost all the food in one of them while I was out of town. Lost about $700 in food, not to mention a nasty smelly cleanup job and all of it could of been avoided with this monitor system.Update. I recommended this to a friend that uses an I phone, they downloaded the app from the play store, don't do that, it wouldn't connect to the hub. Had to delete it and start over using the QR code on the instructions. Everything works now with no issues. Customer support is a real person and they were awesome in their service. These do work like a charm.

Good for monitoring freezer or refrigerator temps.
I had to setup a couple of times, but after that appears to be working fine. Good to have on freezers full of meat! Alarm works - got one while digging in freezer for a certain cut of meat. We had a family member recently have a freezer that was full of meat, and it quit. Didn't find out for another day or two and meat was all ruined by then. That's why I decided on a way to keep a check on ours.

Great insurance against a freezer failure
Purchased this a few months ago, and have now had a chance to use it and see how well it works. In short - it works very well. Setup is easy (both installing and connecting the sensors to your home network, and configuring the app). The app in particular was reasonably intuitive, which is helpful. There are lots of app settings you can adjust, but the most useful for me is the alarms to alert you if the temperature goes outside a specific range (as in "oops, you left the freezer door open again"). This feature has saved me several times. I got a notification that my deep freezer was at 20 degrees - too warm, but still well in advance of when I would start to lose food.My only suggestion is that the instructions for the placement of the temperature probes could be better. I initially installed them near the top of the freezer cabinet, but that location led to lots of false alarms when the freezer went through its normal defrost cycle. I'd suggest installing the probes a bit down from the top instead. I have mine just above the second shelf down, which seems to be an ideal location. You can't get replacements for the brackets that hold the temperature probes (per Govee), but I was able to pry them off the cabinet wall and reposition them. The adhesive squares that come with the kit stick amazingly well - just make sure the spot you are attaching them to is dry, and you should be good to go.Overall I'm very happy with the units, and would definitely recommend them.

Buy it for peace of mind
So far this is working great. It gives me peace of mind and it’s easy to use. I have been scared of my deep freezer going out to my breastmilk stash deep freezer but I can check the temp whenever and you can set up alerts if the temperature gets too a dangerous level that can grow bacteria.
