Nice battery box. Bought this for my size 27 RV battery to have extra room for storage. Does its job.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have this housing a sump pump battery. It fits because I measured before I bought and it came the size it says. Label came off easy which is an unusual convenience. Lid fits even with wires running through it (channels made for that on 2 corners). Screwed it to a piece of wood at the bottom and it did not break like some brittle plastics would. Can't say much more about a box.

Great product for me. I had a large battery on a 10000 pound winch and I wanted to cover my battery. This was the answer. Price was right and shipping was great. Good product.

Decent box for holding two 24 size RV batteries. I've searched and this is the only company that makes a two box battery holder for these size batteries. As far as the sturdiness, not bad. Not real flimsy. Once you put your batteries in it, it'll do the job. They send 4 plastic clips to mount the box with screws so you can pull the tie down straps through. I'm not going to use them. I can't figure out how it would work if you are putting it on your two angle iron rails. I'm just going to lay down the straps under the box, and screw the box to the angle iron in 4 places. That's how I received my one battery box from the dealer. It worked just fine.UPDATE: I bought two new 24 size marine/rv batteries to use in this box. There's definitely room for them. In fact, I probably have an extra 2 1/2" of room once I placed the batteries in the box. However, I can see it's going to be a nightmare to connect my positive and negative leads from the travel trailer. This is because the part on the top of the box doesn't line up with the openings where the cables go through. I'm going to have to do some cutting on the box to make it work. If I had know this, I wouldn't have bought this box. I would have bought another single box for my 24 size battery. Look on YouTube and you can see most people just use two single boxes for two batteries. In addition, I'm going to have to stick a two by four between the two batteries so they don't bounce around while I'm pulling my travel trailer. I will use it, but I'm not happy that I have to cut part of it to get my wires to work.

I wanted to upsize my RV battery and needed a larger battery box. I upgraded to a Lithium Iron Phosphate 230Ah battery. I ordered several boxes, but had to return them all for many reasons. I finally decided to go with this Camco battery box. I mean, if you own an RV, you know Camco. This battery box was the perfect fit. The 230Ah battery fit like a glove. The lid goes on and the straps hold it all together.Installation was a breeze taking about ten minutes including removing the old one. I now have lots of juice for my RV, and a great place to keep and protect it. This box was a fantastic value for the price and I can highly recommend it. It is great quality and very durable. 5 stars from me.

Works good. Has gaps for a group 31, but the lifepo4 battery came with squishy foam and I packed the bottom and sides for a perfect fit. Good stuff!

Seems sturdy enough to get the job done. You will have to provide screws /bolts to mount the box in the configuration that you desire. The cover strap is just OK but they have been working this design for years. Perfect fit for my RedOdo battery.
