Hanes Men's USA Beefy-T T-Shirt

Used these Beefy-T tshirts some time ago whilst working for an American company, great quality and fit particularly around the collar.

My Hanes Tagless Beefy T shirt arrived today. So this is my first impressions. I'll try to remember to come back after a couple of washes, and give my second impressions ;-) The shirt I ordered was a large in orange. I'm just under 6ft tall and I weigh just 12 stone, so I am slight. This shirt is pleasantly baggy on me, and a wee bit on the long side. It looks good on me. Firstly. Astonishingly good colour quality, which I think is set off by the perfect collar piece, seaming, and great cloth. The finish is really first rate. This is heavy weight cotton (215 gsm). I was a wee bit disappointed in the heaviness at first. I though it would be very noticeable. I've been used to FOL Premium and Gildan superweight. They're both good quality shirts at about 150 gsm, and I expected this to be a lot heavier. It is certainly a bit heavier though. I'm sat here wearing a Gildan and fondling the Hanes, and you really can tell. When I put it on I can notice that it hangs better, and wrinkles better. It's better than the other two brands. Noticeably better, for not much more money. These will become my T shirt of choice, and I expect I'll order some more at the end of the month. I'm expecting a Deckard Heavy T shirt tomorrow. That is 350 gsm, so I'm expecting that to be almost sweatshirt heavy. Amazon don't seem to have them, so I'm buying direct. £9.50 plus postage. These T-shirts are called, and obviously designed as, 'Beefy' and so often I find these days that T-shirts are too neat, so ordered them. They seem good quality but are slightly too baggy for me (which was a surprise - I am slightly overweight, but not a lot. May wear or pass on to friend/relative whom they may fit better. I will probably order the next size down to see if better. They are not expensive and good for their price. Have had Hanes shirts before and like the round collar type.

I'm normally a M, so I ordered a S this time – still, it fits me like a paper bag. But quality seems to be great, very heavy duty cotton.

i am 56 years old and not a wearer of nice shirts .....for years i have looked in vain for the ultimate in tee shirts i am 18 stone and needed a tee shirt that hangs right on my stomach ( cant be doing with these men that have thier gut hanging lower than thier tee shirt ) well woop de doo thank god i,ve stumbled across this site i order a size xxl and they are exellant they are a proper mans tee shirt of good heavy quality they make a big man look slimmer and i have to say that the dispatchers (uncle toms cabin) must send them out on the star ship enterprise because its unbelievable how fast they get here.......and free delivery as well and for the price they are it dont matter if i mend the car in them because they are cheap enough to replace.............well done hanes beefy t and thanks ......please dont go bankrupt on me now i,ve found you ......CHEERS JIM G BOLTON

I bought this as a true crew neck t-shirt. Great until I washed it and the neck went out of shape. Won't be buying again.

I already have a Hanes t-shirt, bought many years ago, so I am well aware of their quality and durability. When I needed to buy more, to replace old, cheap tatty ones, I looked at what is available on the internet and decided Hanes was the obvious choice. They make cheap supermarket items feel like rags in comparison.Plus points - strength and durability, good colour range. I particularly like royal navy and orange (strange combination!)Things to be aware of;- Check the washing & ironing instructions before chucking them in the machine.- They are quite stiff, probably because they're new. I expect them to become less so with wear.- Thicker than cheaper products, which may not suit everyone, especially in a hot summer.- I ordered medium but should have bought large, but then that's my fault!Recommended - I will always buy Hanes in the future. Very good quality, well worth paying the extra.

I have some original Hanes t-shirts, which are getting worn out now but I must have had them for more than 20 years so I was looking for the same good quality. I ordered some of this t-shirt as the seller claimed that it was Hanes t-shirts but it was nothing like the quality of my old t-shirts. The t-shirts I received were very thin and I do not think that they would last one year. I returned the t-shirts and got a refund. I was very disappointed, that Amazon sells low quality or fake products like this. I tried to raise a complaint as I found it unfair that I should pay for return of this low quality product or fake product but the only way I could get my money back was to pay for the return of the t-shirts. I wish that it would be possible to buy the same original quality t-shirts from Hanes, that I bought more than 20 years ago. They are really amazing and have absolutely been value for money.
