Fun, but not really practical
Gave as a stocking stuffer. A great idea and good quality, but really not usable from a practical standpoint….

Great idea, just curious as to some of the choices
It's dead simple: A cup of dice, with a little "framework" book. How you use it is up to you. Pick a style of drink (sour, or a cocktail, or whatever) then roll the relevant dice to get your ingredients.Unfortunately some of the ingredients are a little obscure, or disliked. Which is not a downer on the quality of this product, just pointing that out. What would make this better, in my view, is to have the colored dice with just numbers on the faces, and then a little list that the owner can update so that they always "play" with the ingredients they actually have. The little container fits the dice and booklet perfectly, and it acts as the cup for shaking the dice. The dice themselves are wooden, larger than average dice, and roll pretty randomly. The paint hasn't chipped or scratched at all after repeated use (the concept is fun, after all!)I'd like to see more core drink plans on the list and a larger booklet (to handle/read). I'm already making my own lists so we can take note of the random drinks we end up creating so we can remember the good and bad.As a novelty item, it's got it's place. But $22 seems steep for what you get. Maybe make the dice "writeable" and include a grease-pencil or crayon. Perhaps make it into a game: Put a spinner in the lid or roll a numbered die first to let chance decide what TYPE of drink, then roll the main dice to get one's ingredients. All in all, it's an enjoyable idea and great for those "I don't know what I want" days.

Fun game for exciting drinks!
I bought this for my 21-year-old college student, and it was an instant hit! She loves experimenting with new drinks and these dice make it a lot of fun! We all took turns rolling the dice, and we had some very interesting drinks — some were good, some were bad, but all were so much fun!
