Very slow, Old OS
The OS for this e-reader is Android 8.1. Everything runs super-slow. Physical page turn buttons only worked sporadically. I will be returning this & get an e-reader that has a newer or at least upgradable OS.

Good Seller !
Good seller. Fast delivery. In excellent condition. But unfortunately it works very & very slow. I don't know, is it normal for such devices (its my first reader device).

Great functions for a good price
I’m glad I found the E-note device which didn’t cost me an arm and a leg and doesn't require extra subscriptions for basic functions. With my previous Pocketbook experience I was pretty confident that even a basic E-reader would be worth buying. Considering its fairly large size, the weight is less than expected. Stylus feels comfortable in hand and easy to use. A great bonus for basic set was screen cover which normally never comes free from other brands. The screen response time is expectedly low due to the nature of E-ink display, but at the same time it gives you pencil and paper-like experience when taking a handwritten notes. I was mostly interested in this device for handwriting. I found this feature as clear and simple as possible and yet quite convenient to have a clean sheet of paper for your thoughts. Tools are conveniently placed; they don't distract from work and yet remain easily accessible. I also liked that there are not too many of them - they stored the most useful ones. I like to keep my notes in the E-note and I also tried to share a few via my email – it’s very easy and worked well. Books to read look as a classic E-ink experience. Considering the price and the number of options to work with texts, I am quite satisfied with this model.

Better Readers by Other Brands
Pros - Page turn buttons! All ereaders should have these. Screen size - great for reading! Cons- Not Mac compatible. Mac doesn’t see it, so no side loading books. Contrast - contrast of text and background is worse than ereaders from 5 years ago. Text is far more closer to light gray than a dark black.

Good e-reader
Was skeptical to get this because of the reviews, but I love it. Now, my review is based off of pure reading and not the stylus functionality. I just wanted a big screen e-reader so i can have more words on my screen at once, I don't really care about the stylus & note taking functionality. The e-reader is lightweight, big screen, and easy to read, its exactly what I wanted.

This takes some nerve -- has PocketBook monetized a 10th-grade high school e-reader project?
Inconceivable that a device like this would be put on the market. The build is horrific, flimsy thin plastic, everything is buggy and slow, machine freezes and crashes every 5 minutes, useless for ePubs because page annotations wander around and the highlighting is just idiotic. Marginally better is the pdf -- at least the annotations won't wander and you can save manually. Forget about Wifi. It seems to connect and disconnect when the moon and stars align or something. Can't be coaxed to connect. Physical page turn buttons would have been a plus, except that it systematically skips pages. Also, forget about zooming in on a pdf: if you do, the page turns go out of whack! You keep turning the page (touch, buttons, whatever) only to stay on the same page. More like a class experiment for 10th graders. Hard to believe there are any professionals on the other end of this horror. And the sheer nerve of this price-tag!

Pricey
This e-reader is doing what I got it for, but it could definitely be better, especially for the price. I’m a paper book reader, and my programmer spouse has been trying for years to show me the appeal of e-readers. This is much more enjoyable than the shiny screen of my Surface or Kindle. It pairs with my cloudLibrary, though it’s SOOO laggy that browsing is a pain. The contrast could also be better when in lowlight. I’ve read two books on it so far, and haven’t had any issues once the books were open. Some have complained about the lack of page turn buttons, but I prefer to swipe, as it feel more book-like to me. Perhaps I’ll find that annoying over time, but I’m fine with it now. Overall, this is decent for what it’s meant to do, but feels a bit overpriced.

I should have listened to honest reviews on Amazon and not the sponsored YouTubers. The specs and horsepower on this is so so bad that it cannot even track the pen! The latency between you writing with the stylus and what appears on the screen is extremely high. There are some times that even the last letter does not appear but you have move on to a next line! You pause to see what happened after a sec or two it appears! This is on the latest update, no app installed, using built in note taking app. I am returning it after 2min.

1. Home button does not work 2. Other buttons work 1 out of 3 attempts 3. Device stops in the middle of nowhewere - restart needed. I did it 3 times in 15 minutes of using 4. Blutooth connection does not work neither with Android devices nor with Mac. Ok, it worked once after numerous 'blotooth unit has mistake' - again restarting 5. Once after 5 attempts to connect it was finally connected - only 1(ONE!!!) file was transferred successfuly, other two stucked - device does not support the action or file format (fb2) 6. It is extremely slow and unreliable 7. lower panel in book reading mode do not appear 8. Ok it could read epub small book of 150 pages, but this is it. 9. Battery goes down quite quickly, assume 2 weeks it will never last. I really did my best to get this piece of plastic work, but no. Made return finally.
