Using with a Pi hat for GPS-based time sync. Works great. Feels higher quality than the crappy antenna that came stock and kept breaking due to fairly gentle movement/coiling.

This is a fine unit. Seems like it would be water resistant (not going to test that!) and be fairly robust. Nice SMA connector. Pulls in signals very nicely.As a side note, this is NOT a dual band GNSS antenna. It will only pick up GPS and GLONASS not Galileo. It did not pretend do, so this is no fault of the unit. Dual band antennas tend to be much pricier.

i have purchased this product several times over the past few years for different Arduino projects. it is a tough product and just works.

Works as intended

I used this to improve the performance of my Adafruit Ultimate GPS and my Neo 6M GPS. In both cases, it cuts the satellite acquisition time from 10-20 minutes to about 30 seconds. It also improves the accuracy of the data: with the unit sitting on my desk (should be speed 0.00 knots if perfectly accurate), I got an average of 0.07 knots with this GPS and an average of 0.13 knots with the ceramic antenna that comes with the Neo 6M.
