I use this for my cell phone so when it falls in the lake I just reach down and get it.
These are great to float your action camera nd cell phone.

Doesn’t float like it says
The description says it’s supposed to float but it doesn’t float to the surface as much as I thought it would. As a result, when I went to Sandy’s beach in Oahu to body board, I used it and when I got hit by the lip of a wave the go pro fell out my mouth. I was looking for it for about 40 minutes, scanning the surface of the water and even the bottom and in the middle. Still didn’t find it. So only did I lose $5 but I lost my $330 brand new go pro with it.

Check which model GoPro first
Although I loved the idea of this and my son has had one in the past, I unfortunately had to return this because it didn’t work with his newer model GoPro. It covers the rear screen and didn’t allow him full use of the GoPro features as a result. However, having lost GoPro’s in the water before, the concept of what this can do if you have an older GoPro or can figure out a way to make it work for what you have, this small float can save you big money should your GoPro get lost in the water.

Works as good as the name brand. The color is perfect for finding on the lake if it falls off.

I’m using the floaty on my GoPro Hero 4 which is big for an action camera nowadays. I was surfing in Morocco a week ago and got into a washout. When I popped out of the water the camera was gone from the nose of my surfboard. Then I looked around and saw it floating nearby. Another day I lost the camera surfing in Cornwall, it was washed out to the rocks nearby and I saw it from far away. Must have thing! 😁
