The screen size and quality is great! The cool lil swivel screen provides a crystal-clear viewing experience, allowing me and my family to really enjouy our favorite movies and TV shows. The size is just perfect, not too big and not too small, making it easy to carry around and set up wherever we go.The rechargeable battery is a huge plus. I no longer have to worry about finding an outlet to plug it in while on the go. It lasts for hours, giving me uninterrupted entertainment without any hassle.BONUS: The USB/SD support feature lets me easily play my downloaded content, adding more wins to this already amazing device.

I bought this Pyle 17.9” Portable DVD Player, With 15" Swivel Adjustable Display Screen, USB/SD Card Memory Reader in August, 2020 during lockdown. As traditional Public School programs had gone online and were dealing with bandwidth and network connectivity issues, we opted for an offline, dvd based homeschool curriculum. Our unit has been used for approximately 360 school days, on average 4 hours per day, and still going strong.The player itself is solid, and has good video quality. The swivel screen is a great feature that allows my learner to work from various locations without moving the unit. The usb was helpful as I could prepare supplemental content and easily alternate between media. Having the ability to charge the unit and take our lessons on location is by far my favorite feature of this unit.My only suggestion to the manufacturer, is that the buttons (play, fast forward, rewind etc.) are a bit "clicky" but on the up side, the simple buttons allowed my young student to manage the player without assistance. :)Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit and we are quite happy with it.

DVD player works well and is a good size for our needs. Having the remote makes it easy to set on a shelf so we can both watch it but the quality of the remote is terrible. It is very small with entirely too many tiny buttons which are almost impossible to use, much less tell which ones are which. Worst of all, they are so close together on the tiny, cheap remote that pressing just one requires care and small fingers. Picture quality is pretty good and the sound is sharp, if sometimes hard to control. (Different DVDs apparrently change volume control.) The charging/power lights are excessively bright and distracting but it is the remote which really took off one star.

I would like to say this product is described as it is it is a very nice unit to take with you on a road trip the remote came in handy the audio plug came with it etc etc screen look really nice it is an it's big enough for two possibly three but not the whole house if you are willing to sit back on your couch from a flock but it is a great product and everything that looking forward to taking this party going on a trip going to Disney World later in the year if we get past however love the product looking forward to tested it when we going on a trip defrag arrived on time and in great condition no no accidents to be found once again thanks for the delivery came on time and looking forward to Doom buy more products for the future thanks Amazon you're the best

pros: light weight, big screen, easy open disc door. cons: Super Tiny remote, you will lose it. charging wire and wire for rest of connections is very low grade, (cheap) ... there is no display button that i see for REPEAT with the menu... you have to program the play back mode... why not just hit repeat and play movie or episode or your own dvd cd.. other DVDs have this mode..also attached little walkman speakers to output and no sound... on that note, this is low sounding DVD player.,,someone wrote how good the sound is, i have heard way better players.. manual also has this more as a connect to a monitor in your house and use as a DVD player, more so then use as a portable DVD for travel and car... and lastly, but there are more CONS like poor battery without power gauge that i see continually...power last 2 hrs fully charged and not the 6 !!! i have tested this twice now......., the big one for CONS, : is WARNING WARNING WARNING fire hazard all over the manual on several pages.. obviously there is or was problem in testing or just knowing inevitable outcome.... like previous purchaser, i thought i would get a dvd player as new laptops don't support the optics dvd drive anymore.. i will return this item and for sure things won't burn down....will keep old 7 inch or use computer optics drive as long as lasts..

Screen is nice & big & swivels, as described. Earbuds work, plays as should per electric cord & battery charge. Charged up quickly. Have not used it long period yet to know how long the charge holds up. Speakers are impressive .Will play loudly. Picture quality good but not as good as a TV picture .May improve with more adjusting. Could not get it to play on smart TV, using supplied cable. Tried different ways to hook it up, still no go. Could be me not doing something right. But still happy with purchase. Would buy again. :) Addendum: I've returned to give this 5 stars after using a while. Eventually hooked it up to smart TV. Everything works great.

I purchased this portable player for my sister who moved into assisted living. While she has a TV in her living room, mobility issues made it difficult to enjoy watching movies in her bedroom. The Pyle provided her options to listen to her collection of CDs and watch her DVDs in bed. Screen size and picture quality were excellent. I wish the remote was bigger. Her hands are arthritic and it is a bit difficult to accurately press the small buttons to change volume. Overall, it was a very reasonably priced, light weight, good performance and easy to use portable player that met our needs!
