Better Than Sugar
Green tea is really good for you and I drink a lot, but I didn't want to have the added sugar using cane sugar as it may (metabolically) increase your glycemic levels. (Not being fond of being diabetic and taking meds.) This particular sweetener works well for me as I use it in various other applications like Soursop tea and is sweeter than sugar and you use 1/8 the amount of sugar. 1/8 of a teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of sugar, that's awesome and a 10 oz. bag lasts my a good long time. Haven't done the research but in the long run it may be cheaper than sugar and better for you. Check it out for yourself.... Tastes great...

Excellent non-sugar sweetener. Make a syrup for best results
I'm diabetic, so I need to limit my sucrose intake. Every version of monkfruit powder I search for has Erythritol, which I don't want. This is pure monkfruit extract. It's an extremely fine powder that seems to be slightly hydrophobic, meaning it doesn't dissolve really well in liquids. The solution (HA! Unintended pun!) is to make a syrup with boiling water and keep it in the fridge. This stuff is extremely sweet, so err on the side of caution when determining the ratio of powder to water. The good news is, if it's too sweet, you can dilute it. I would recommend trying a tsp per cup of water to start and see how that tastes. It has a great flavor with no aftertaste or bitterness that is common with sugar substitutes.

LOVE this Stuff!
I drink a lot of iced tea, I make it by the gallon using teabags from Ireland (bought on Amazon) Barry's Tea Master Blend. The Irish teabags hold more tea in them and it is a good black tea, strong. I need a strong tea as when I pour it over ice it gets diluted. However I like a sweet iced tea as well. I switched from sugar with peach syrup to Monk fruit with erythritol and peach syrup. Most monk fruit sold is a mix with something else, I used the mix with erythritol, but then I read an research article that says, watch out, erythritol thickens your blood and it stays in your body for a very very long time. So then I went on a search for pure monk fruit and tried Durelife pure monk fruit powder. I LOVE this stuff. What I do is make a syrup out of it, I use one tablespoon of Monk Fruit to one cup of boiling water. I mix a 4 cup syrup batch at a time, I use one cup in my gallon of iced tea and store the other three cups in a glass jar in the refrigerator. I add 2/3 of a cup of peach syrup to my brewed and cooled down (luke warm) with the 1 cup of Monk Fruit syrup and have a perfect low calorie gallon of iced tea. I find you need to let the brewed tea cool down to close to room temperature before adding the peach syrup or else the peach syrup flavor gets knocked out if you add it to hot tea. I know the peach syrup is adding glucose and calories but 2/3 of a cup in a gallon works down to not all that much in a glass and I so enjoy that peach flavor in my iced tea.I can't praise this product enough, it has really really improved my life. 1 Table spoon of this monk fruit powder mixed into a cup of boiling water, use a whisk to mix it throughly and boom you are done. It dissolves really well with a slight bit of whisking. Just a few strokes with the whisk and the powder fully dissolves into the boiling water. Although the price per bag seems pricey, one bag is going to last me a long long long time at one tablespoon for one cup of boiling water, so actually it is not all that expensive in the long run. I am picky, I do not like any other artificial sweeteners and I have tried them all. I LOVE Monk Fruit, it does not leave a bad taste in your mouth like the other ones do, because it is fruit it only leaves a very slight pleasant fruity flavor in your mouth. The after taste is very very very slight and I like it, it is fruity. Just a hint of fruit is how I would describe it. If my review is helpful consider leaving a thumbs up.

It tastes good.
This product is erythrihol free, you use a very small amount so it lasts a very long time, has a small after taste but is better for your health. We switched from another sweetener to this one. Only down side is price.

Less than ok, sweet but bloating issues
This product is less than ok in my humble opinion. I am a fitness fanatic and I eat healthy with about 20+ years of fitness and nutritional experiences..I am on keto and I have noticed the the following:Pros: it is sweetCons:1) it is not as strong as others claim taste wise. It is not like sugar where the more you put the sweeter it gets. This almost has a sweetness threshold and has aftertaste! So the more you put the taste stays the same and more aftertaste.2) I have noticed that I crave more sweets throughout the day after I use it as if I got kicked out of ketosis process. I had it with hot black tea and later on the day I crave more sweets and feel like tired so obviously some how my insulin was triggered.3) I get bloated, they do claim it is pure extract but I react to it worst than having the real thing, sugar. So unsure if the content is 100% “pure”. When I am off of it no bloating or gases4) small quantity for the money too. Bag and spoon are a mess as it is so fine. I’d give it 2 out of 5 in that department it could get improved. Maybe a can would probably work better.Lastly, I am just going to cut out sugars/sweets completely. Every time I try a sugar substitute I get more cravings throughout the day as apposed to just being on keto and not crave anything. I actually do one spoon of the real thing I.e Sugar (only one spoon) and no bloating and seem to stay in ketosisThat said, others may react differently or possibly my system is just “too clean” to notice those difference so do as you wish but that’s my experience. Do I recommend it to a family member? No.

Taste like sugar
I am delighted with the taste and quality. I tried a couple of other monk fruit labels. This one tastes the sweetest. It is one shade darker than the others. It is a very fine powder.

Love THIS !!!!!
Wow!! This tastes like real sugar. I stopped using the liquid monkfruit sweetener because of the preservatives. This is so delicious. I ordered a 2nd bag because I didn't want to run out. You only have to use a small amount so we still are on the 1st bag!! I will always have this in my kitchen. Great for diabetics, people on keto.
