Comfort and Function!
I purchased these overalls for garden landscaping and 'heavy' handy work around home. I ordered my true size and they fit well. I will add a note that I ordered tall because carhartt shrinks in length. Though these were so long I wasn't sure I had made the correct choice, they have since shrunk to the perfect length. I am 5' 6" tall. 115# and ordered xs (I normally wear xs or sm in tops and bottoms). Another advantage to ordering the tall is that the shoulder straps didn't have to be on the longest adjustment. There is room left to lengthen the straps if needed. This is an important feature since they are nicely fitted and not overly baggy/saggy in the crotch area. Having extra length in the straps insures the crotch can be adjusted to a comfortable length. However i will say that my xs-reg length are very comfortable and stretch out a bit, I did have to use all the room available in the shoulder strap in order for the crotch to be roomy. The quality of the fabric is great. Not as heavy-duty as the Carhartt Women's Original Fit Crawford Double Front Pant or overalls (I wear a 2 in the pant). Each has its purpose. The striped overall is soft and the double-front is hefty, very durable and takes a lot of abusive handy-work. The stripped fabric is lighter weight, but still durable, and by the way, is VERY reminiscent of my father's Railroad Engineer hat fabric from when I was a child in the 1960's. I would swear it was the same fabric! All in all - great choices, just wish I had purchased them years ago. (PS: the square shoulder clasps are much more awkward to deal with then the traditional round, but not a deal breaker for me.) The pockets are roomy, hold a large cell phone and accommodate tools, etc.

My fav Overalls
These are my favorite pair of overalls. If you work a job that involves getting messy or even a hobby or project you're working on, these are perfect. They are thick and heavy duty, lots of pockets, they aren't extremely heavy but they have a noticeable weight to them. Straps are thick for those who do a lot of bending, etc. (I ALWAYS rip straps but these hold up!) I get compliments on them all the time because the stripes give them that big kid/old school railroad vibe. Great just to wear or to work in. The pant legs do run big. Im 5'5 & about 155 so I got the L to be safe. Everything fits great, just the legs are too long for me so a cuff doesn't hurt, or just cut em if you're edgy. Highly recommended if you're rough & tough 99% of the time. :)

Wear and wash to fit
Carhartt clothing works like magic. I’ve always enjoyed their comfortable tshirts and jackets. I was skeptical after trying on these overalls because they were big and small in so many places but the integrity of the materials made me want to wear them. Eventually after a few wears and washes, they fit like a gem. They shrunk in places I wanted and expanded in places I needed. They are comfortable, durable and versatile.

Love the Stripe Brewster!
My measurements:-5’7”-34B / 32C Bra-28-29” Waist-39-40” Hips-Hourglass/Pear Shape (larger hips/thighs + slim waist)-Normal Size: 6-8 (Pants) & Small/Med (Tops)A lot of reviews say they run short & my denim carhartt are short so I purchased the Tall & Regular in Medium to see which worked better but regular are PLENTY long in brewster. Hopefully they’re shrink up when washed. The denim is a lot lighter than the dark denim version which I prefer (for southern california) & makes them much more comfortable for lounging and moving than my denim ones. The knee are double layered so I imagine these will last just as long. They fit better than many overalls I’ve tried. When extending the bib down to my preferred length the pockets sag quite low on the back so it looks better when the straps are tightened (see attached pics). As with all overalls, the waist is rather wide across the front, making it look a bit like a clown...but I can’t think of a time I’m ever standing straight on without a hand in my pocket, moving, bending, etc. Its an issue of ALL OVERALLS, not specific to these*Note to dickies, Carhartt & Levi: If you would consider installing an additional Side button a bit further back on the top row for those of us who like a more fitted waist & don’t mind undoing a side button to put them on could have the option I would be SO THRILLED!

Flattering fit and functional design
The Brewster bibs are adorable. I am barely 5'4 and about 120 pounds and the XS in regular length and they are perfect for what I need (you can wear boots or running shoes and they won't be too long). I can wear these over a pair of running pants but I may have to size-up if I wanted a looser fit over jeans. Noting my height/weight for reference, you also might size up if you wanted to wear them over an overly bulky sweatshirt or coat. I purchased these for working in the yard, house chores, and possibly to wear to the barn. To note, they have the double-front knees which is great. Love the zipper on front bib also. I hesitated to give only 4 stars but I haven't really 'road tested' them yet.

You don't have to work on a railroad to own
I purchased this and wore them camping and to church! These are durable and comfortable and there are a crap ton of pockets which is amazing!!! You can have a pocket dedicated for all the rocks your children give you to carry. The long length is perfect for 6'0 height. If you love overalls these are for you.

cute!
Size runs a little small. But ... After I lost a few pounds it fits perfect. Love the pin strips. Looks great with a tank top!

Quality, function & Comfort.
Absolutely worth the investment not only yard work & project durable, also COMFORTABLE. Love these so much.My favorite feature is the ZIPPER pocket on the bib. Most excellent touch, nice to not have contents dump out, when using restroom or bending down! A+ for this. Easy to care for wash & dry. These can easily be casual overalls too. I hope to be able to get another pair in the future. They are so versatile & breathable. Not too heavy to have on in 80° Fahrenheit & hotter weather. Put leggings under for cool early mornings. Legs held roll-up during entire project on hot day. Thanks for Quality overalls.
