I must buy if you are buying an engraver
Excellent for engraving cups and mugs. Fairly simple to hook up. Came with extra cables for different models. Excellent price. Haven't used it for anything other than a couple of metal. Thermoses but it worked. Excellent quality of the picture was perfect. Super easy once I figured out how to work it

Great product
So I will start with the negatives. The directions are both terrible and inaccurate. They state that the black ended cord is for "all other laser engravers" and the white ended was only for their specific brands. After trying the black cord over and over and getting a jumping rotary, I decided to try the white cord just on a whim before I returned it. It worked. I got it installed, made the adjustments and engraved a pen blank as a test. It did a great job!

It works great!
It works great. It's paid for itself time and time again. I did however have to make a ring to make the cups turn true.

Not perfect but works well
I have the rollers rotary which is useless if you have an odd shape so I thought the claw would be awesome. The chuck is well made and solid with the exception of the little bit of play that is in that actual chuck piece. I have tightened all of the screws but there is still a bit of a bobble which is why I docked a star. The directions are useless and I had to search YT for a video. Here is what I figured out that should have been in the manual... There are multiple cords. If you have the Nano, you need the c connection cord and the longer y axis cord. The shorter white ended cord is for the Longer Ray lasers. If you plug the wrong cord in, it won't work. The little level is cool and very useful. There are 3 ways to hold your object. There is the single claw for larger items. The double claw is for smaller objects and if you're engraving jewelry like a ring, there are metal pegs for that. Once you get the wiring right and the right claw, then it works fine, other than the slight bobble. Luckily my design was a small area on a champagne glass. If the design had to go all the way around, you would definitely have a messed up design because of the bobble. So I won't be getting rid of my rollers which I'll use if my object is smooth and even.

Needs improvement
I'm not sure what was up with this. I've had great luck with Longer products. This completely wrecked the Y-axis of my Ray5 20W, and I had to replace the motherboard after using it a few times. Some Longer products need improvement in their documentation. They point to non-existent website pages, and this was one of them. I found what I needed in a different section of their website. It is well-made, but easily goes out of balance. This skewed the image that I was trying to engrave. The instructions could use some improvement. I sent it back.

Good for straight cylinder type cups or glass, not so good if there are curves
I like some of it and not some. The rollers are nice and smooth and with the additional roller guides it helps. But if youre off alignment any little bit it will roll crookedly. Also..the main issue with this is that if you use a flute or glass cup thats not straight, or if it has curvature, when its on the rollers the glasses can roll improperly (for lasering accurately) and cause some wobble. Im still trying my best to like this..but i might need to return it because of inconsistency to my laser projects. Really wanted to love this. I would say if you have straight cups or cylinders, than this would work great. But if you need precision you might need a type of rotary chuck holder instead.
