Great Christmas or birthday gift
Lovely birthday or Christmas present, comes with all the supplies you’d need to make it and is very easy to make. Very durable and quality wool that can’t be beat for the cost. It’s an alright gift for its value.

Great for beginners
These are very cute, and easy to make. I will be buying more kits. They are larger than the Woobles, I was hoping they would match.

Not as good as Woobles
Had issues with the owl yarn being defective. While emails with the company were difficult to read they did send me a whole new kit. Instructions were not terrible for the owl. The highland cow had some difficulties with instructions and possibly some wrong instructions. Videos were not helpful. They say you get what you pay for. Yarn is easy to work with however lacking instructions to be a true beginner kit.

Great kit, especially for beginners
My daughter is getting into crochet, and she has been struggling trying to figure it out on her own and with YouTube videos (haven't found any classes for her to take). She saw an ad for the Woobles and really wanted to try them. Those kits are $30+, so I got her one of those and this one. They're comparable, but this one is so much less expensive! She actually really likes the printed instructions that are included. The Woobles kit has no printed instructions but has online videos which are helpful for her to get started but less convenient to take camping or to do a second project with different materials. This kit, however, she thinks the printed instructions would be great to do future projects in different colors with her other yarns. This kit also had video instructions available, but I don't think she's looked them up yet. The quality of the yard is really good, comparable to the Woobles yarn, and the box it comes in is nice. It would make a great gift also. The highland cow is adorable! She's not even finished yet, but it's coming together so nicely! She said she'd definitely want some of the other kits from this company because they are just as nice if not better than the Woobles kits.

Such a Fun Project to do on a Lazy Sunday Afternoon
I had a lot of fun with this kit. I would suggest you have some basic crochet experience before taking on amigurumi. The kit included everything you needed. You should have basic tools like scissors already. It had the easy yarn and all colors needed, black thread for the finishing touches on the nose, metal and plastic yarn needles, safety eyes, stuffing, crochet hook, stitch markers, both PDF downloadable and written patterns which makes the value of the kit well worth it! The pattern was easy to follow for someone who is familiar with written patterns and crochet abbreviations, if you’re not someone familiar with the abbreviations, they include another set of instructions with this information. I did not have to use the video so unfortunately I can’t comment on the quality of the video tutorial. I had no issues with running out of yarn, I still had plenty leftover. I also ended up having leftover stuffing too. The instructions on how to sew the parts together was easy to follow. I’m someone who likes to crochet tightly for amigurumi to avoid the stuffing from peeking through, so my completed guy ended up measuring about 4.5 inches tall and about 5 inches wide ear tip to ear tip. I also did end up using the yarn under method rather than standard yarn over, I feel this stitch is better fit for this type of yarn. I would also recommend that you use the invisible decrease to make it look more smooth. Overall, this took me about 2.5 - 3 hours, but I’ve been crocheting a long time, so don’t feel bad if you need more time. I plan to purchase additional kits since I enjoyed doing this one very much on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Overall good little kit for almost beginners
I got this kit as a test to see if it would be good to teach my Girl Scout troop to crochet (10 year olds). Overall I would recommend it, HOWEVER, there was an error in one row of the ear on the printed pattern, which could really confuse true beginners. I'm a knitter, not a crocheter, so while most of this was new to me, I already knew how to do some basics like chain stitch and read a pattern, and was confident enough to figure out the error when the numbers didn't add up, but if this was truly my first time crafting like this I might have gotten a lot more frustrated! The videos are correct, so if someone is following the video and not the printed pattern they would be okay. Overall, it's a super cute little stuffed amigurumi - my first ever! And even though I thought it was a fox originally and not a shiba inu, that's probably because of the orange color, and it looks adorable anyway.Pros:- comes with everything you need (except scissors), a printed pattern and link to step-by-step videos that do a good job of explaining everything- cheaper than some of the other similar crochet kits out there (by more than half!!)Cons:- error in the printed pattern could confuse true beginners- ran out of orange yarn and couldn’t make the tail. Still cute without it but would have been nice to be able to make the full pattern!
