Beautiful pictures and inspirations, easy to stitch
I bought this (along with several other cross stitch pattern books) to use to make gifts for children and there are LOTS of beautiful ideas in it and it's presented in a lovely way. Of all the books I've purchased it is definitely my favourite. The designs are coloured which makes them easier to follow, and there are a lot of themes to choose from that make it ideal for work for children (babies, dinosaurs, animals, transport, seasonal themes, etc).

great little book packed with lots of bright, modern designs
This book is packed full with lots of bright, modern designs. Loads of variety and also has a section in front to tell the beginner the best ways to stitch, the best materials and the best equipment to use.The book is also a nice size, small and chunky so would fit in a bag if you are taking your cross stitch projects when you travel.I also think it would be possible to trace the designs on to the fabric with pencil, which may make copying the designs easier for a starter.

Love this book
I love this book it has loads of great pictures to cross stitch it's a little A5 book easy to pick up if you need a quick project or alternately a larger project using several small charts, I have been cross stitching now for 40 plus years. My favourite charts are the cats, dogs, Baby, Christmas and Easter.they are all great designs.

Saw this book at the library and I was so impressed with the variety of different pictures to stitch that I couldn't resist buying it. It has loads of simple and quick designs that are just right for last minute cards and I am sure it will be used a lot.

One of The Best Cross Stitch Book of 2018
If you buy only one cross stitch book this year make it this one. Worth every penny. It's a larger format version of the one previously released by Sharon Welch. The book is divided in sections. From animals, baby, garden, sewing, stitching, fruits, vegetables, flowers and each holiday from Christmas to Halloween, Easter & everything in-between. This book has so many options.The motifs can be used together to form a large picture or each one on its own is large enough to make ornaments for a Christmas tree or to use as cards, bookmarks, etc.. It includes many little motifs you can also add to a picture. There are also quite a few borders. I counted well over a 1000 designs. I originally borrowed this book from the library and was so impressed that I had to have my own copy. I cannot stress enough how great this book is for all occasions. Beautiful colored charts and a floss list to use, This book is great for both the beginner and experienced stitcher alike.

Stitching is a passion for me and I love stitching on a cold winter's night. This book has seasonal motifs, day to day motifs and fun motifs. I will never get bored stitching motifs to be put into greeting cards, towels, pillow cases, and Christmas tree framed pictures (Santa, Elves, Reindeer), Birthday motifs, cars/trucks/trains, animals, teapots, Halloween motifs and so much more. I can spend years just to get through this book authored by Sharon Welch! It is worth the money!
