FIRE HAZARD
Bought only just over a month ago and just went onto my second bulb when the bulb went out then could smell burning plastic and the fitting was all burnt and then no longer worked , not that i would have continued using.bought for my tortoise so not always home when on , but luckily was home this day.DO NOT BUY

Inexpensive, three lamps provided, the adjustment dial could be better.
I found this lamp warmed up nicely, I suppose unsurprisingly when it is a halogen lamp. The clip is strong and will certainly clip the lamp in place. I felt that the intensity adjustment dial was a strange shape, being conical, it turns fairly easily but is the worst shape to be able to grip properly. As the description mentions this light will accept most types of bulb with a threaded fitting, meaning that you can use it elsewhere than with a pet, which considering it's flexible neck could be handy.

Bad Lamp
I bought this lamp to place in my geckos enclosure, and at first, the lamp was fine but within a week, it wasn't getting hot enough and the bulb had blown already, ive now had it three weeks roughly and the bulb has blown 5 times for no reason i can understand and it still isnt keeping the tank hot enough, like it did for the first few days. would not recommend, shell out on a proper reptile lamp if youre looking at this, its cheaper in the long run rather than spending god knows how much every week on bulbs
