The case looks SO MUCH BETTER un person, I mean it look great in pictures, but in person it looks even better. It has a very nice patter / texture on its surface that can’t be appreciated in the pictures and feels like a kind of luxury high end finish. Would buy it again, it’s the best hard sleeve on the market.

I was looking for a hard cover case and this did meet my expectation. It also looks clean and well made. I highly recommend if you are looking for harder cover than padded cloth cover.

The external protection is really good (tap it and it feels hard) and internally it’s padded well. But I’m not sure about using the slip-in internal pouch. It tightly holds your laptop in place, but I don’t know if that tight pressure might affect the display over a long term as MacBooks are known for their extremely tight display tolerances (I tested on a 14” MacBook M2 Pro). You could just avoid the pouch and place it directly inside but then the laptop tends to bump around which again might not be a good idea in the long term. I know I’m probably being extremely picky but I would prefer to have something that protects without adding a potential worry over an expensive laptop I intend to use for at least 5 years.

Sturdy and perfect fit. I just wish the extra little bag attached to the case somehow.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to try out a shockproof case for my ultrabook (my Lenovo Yoga 7i has the same dimensions as the MacBook Pro 14s)—not because I absolutely needed one, but because I think they’re cool. Yeah…that’s really the reason.This is nice and sleek looking and it definitely fits my ultra book in the inner elastic holder. When it’s closed, there’s no real wiggle room and it feels light and secure.The bag that comes with it is larger than expected for a small bag (it has some space to expand) so it can hold my power brick, a cleaning cloth, and another cable without trouble. It feels like it’s made from quality material too.My only words of caution: I’m not actually sure how much more protective this is than, say, softer (but thick) padding. The inside is soft-ish, but not exactly super plush, like a lightly coated, but higher quality, egg carton. Without real world testing, I have no idea. I also am not so sure about the handle, which feels like it’s just a tad too thin to hold up (though I see ZERO signs of it breaking).And I do wish they included externally attached pouches for accessories rather than a separate bag, as you cannot (as intended) for any accessories in the laptop case itself (which the manufacturer says is to protect the laptop).That being said: this is such a value and the apparent quality is well above average so I can’t imagine anyone (including myself) being disappointed as long as they understand what this is. I’m happy with it for my purposes and would even travel with it. Hope this helps!

I was looking for a hardshell case for my 2012 Macbook Air. This mostly fits. There is a centimeter of extra space all the way around the Macbook Air. I can't complain though.It has a very soft interior and comes with a removable gear bag on the inside.The case, by its nature of being a hardshell, is about an inch thick. It may or may not fit the laptop compartment of some backpacks. If it fits in your backpack, then there should be no concerns. You might need to use the larger compartment of your backpack. It is a hardshell, afterall. It can take it.It has a carrying handle if you choose not to use a bag.The zippers are not branded.Overall, I would feel safe with my laptop in this case.
