For my particular use, I just wanted to use a simple noise, to send, strays away, from my lawn, rather than going to the door, to shout at them. I'd prefer not to have my yard, become an outhouse for the neighborhood strays, or someone's pooch, which the figure out (incorrectly) is entitled to use anyone's property's as a their pet's toilet.
