Perfect for my cribbage boards
I purchased this indexing table for drilling the holes for my hardwood cribbage boards. Granted it is not intended for precision metal work, but for the money it's a great deal if you need to produce a straight line of holes. I havent tried using a router bit in my drill press to do any "milling". Iwill try to update once I have done so. But depending on the level of precision you are after, this is a good deal for the hobbyist and for light projects (wood rather than metal perhaps)

Solutions
Problem: Plays on the x and y-axisCauses: Both plays on the x and y-axis are caused by two main issues. First, the brass cylinders inside the milling table wobble. It is caused by both the x and y-axis brass cylinders being too small for the hole and the y-axis cylinder not sitting deep enough to minimize the play. The second issue is the nob being too loose but tightening it will cause the silicone ring to break after 10-20 turns and the nob will come loose again after a few turns.Solution: The solution for the first issue is to cut a 3.5mm thick wood dowel and cut several paper strips and fold them. Put both the wood dowel and folded paper strips between the two brass cylinders. The wood dowel minimize the play and the tension of the folded paper made the play disappear in my case. For the second issue, I replaced the silicone ring with a 2mm thick cow leather ring I made and place a 5/16 split lock on the end without the handle between the hex nut and the washer. I placed the cow leather ring on both the end with and without the handle.Additional Information: After placing the cow leather ring and split lock, the handle will be a little harder to turn. I can no longer use the nob as it was intended but at least I have a cheap milling table without any play.

Ok for casual hobby use (with some unplanned setup pain included absolutely free)
Get yourself a teaspoon of silicone grease ready and 1) Apply lightly by finger to the screw threads under the bed.2) Smear a light coat on the ways (not much was applied by OEM).3) I used electric motor oil (it's heavy) in an old inkjet refill bottle (has a handy needle spout) to add a couple drops of oil into the screw thread ends (no real bearings here, so the oil helps). The silicone oil I had on the shelf was too light imho.4) The supplied studs that are used to turn the handles have too much diameter on the head end (or spinner handle end was drilled undersized more likely): I had to reduce the diameter of the stud heads so the the spinning handles would actually spin. I turned the stud heads lightly against a grinding wheel a couple times to accomplish that downsizing. Apply silicone grease to stud shaft and head end socket before screwing the studs in.5) Tolerance is about +- 0.01 inch travel possible in either direction (like I said, "casual hobby use").6) Given the quality and the entry level price, I would have given it 4 stars. However, I had a real challenge mounting this milling table on the "Lukcase Floor Drill Press Stand Table for Drill Workbench Repair Tool Clamp for Drilling Collet, drill Press Table" (ie. Amazon p/n 9282615). Based on the supplied info in and pictures on the boxes, the table and the stand appear to be made by the same company, so you'd expect them to fit together without issue, but not so. Apparently one part is made on Mars and the other on Venus. I was barely able to get 1/4-20 x 1 1/2" carriage bolts to line up (even crookedly) between the drill press stand and the milling table base. There's no way you're going to get 5/16" bolts in there. I've enclosed a picture: It's sloppy, not professional looking whatsoever, but hopefully functional. It's definitely not convenient for removing the table from the base if you would want to do that frequently.HTHRevised 2/16/18: I added a pic of the two white strips that were in my package.

Great products well made
I love these dual-axis meal tables it works great and they are affordable. fast delivery. I am an knife maker and I'm very particular about my tools. I use this Mill table as part of a bevel jig that I sell . my customers love them. Check out Taylor blades on YouTube to see this in action.

Very Low Quality
After using this for a while, and taking apart and cleaning and adjusting the gibs, it will not hold tolerance at all. It works fine for a small drill press to hold parts, but don't expect it to be a milling table.

This is like a toy for a toddler
I am disappointed. I know it says is mini but in reality this micro or even nano size. This thing is so small that I am afraid it will break when I try to use it. I did read the description but didn't expect something so toy-like. Again I am very very disappointed

Pretty good value for the money
There is a bit of slop in the leadscrews, but look at what you are paying for it. I doubt if NASA will be buying many, but it works perfectly for the macro stage adjuster on my macrophotography setup.

Solid service
I received the product as expected but there was a handle screw that came without threads as it should have had. I contacted the seller and they shipped me a whole new unit without much headache at all. It moves and functions as it should, this is for small projects of course. For what you're paying, the product quality should not surprise you, but at least you know that the customer service is reliable to back up their product.
