A nicely built and modern 5 way extension power strip which is made even more versatile by the use of universal sockets to allow the use of some International electrical plugs as well as the standard 13 amp UK 3 pin plugs.As well as the 5 electrical output sockets the unit comes with 4 additional USB charging ports, 2x 12W USB A, 1x 18W USB A QC3.0 and also 1x 20W USB C PD3.0, which should accommodate most peoples current charging needs.The device has a separate on/off power switch built in as well as a very useful 3 meter long cable with a moulded UK 13 amp 3 pin plug.My only small reservation is with the wall mounting options - bizarrely there is no provision to mount the unit horizontally as there are only two indented mounting slots, one at each end designed to be used to hang the unit vertically from either end.However, this is a very well made and modern power strip solution and is good value at this price!

I have no way of testing the surge protection, but everything else works well on this power extension/USB charger.The materials and construction are very good quality, and the single on/off switch powers everything down including the USB charger.There is a good range of USB outlets with high power USB-A and USB-C outlets alongside 2 standard USB-A ones.Don't confuse this with some of the cheaper options on Amazon - this one is worth paying a little extra for.

What can I say about an extension lead. Well this one has a few features to make it easier. To start with it seems to be made to a good standard. It looks and feels substantial and although I have no way of testing its electrical safety I have no concerns.It comes with a good lead length so does not need to be near a power point and the inclusion of one USB - C PD socket and three USB power sockets means I do not tie up mains sockets with adapters. Finally to the mains sockets which are very unusual. They are designed to take normal UK plugs but will also take foreign plugs such as the two round pin European standard and two parallel flat pin plugs. although I cannot test all the options. It also looks to take old UK three round pin but I have no way to check that one.Finally there is a push on/off switch in one corner. Overall this looks to be a decent product.

The 5 plug bar has universal outlet configuration, allowing various international plugs to be fitted (voltage permitting) so visitors won't have to worry about compatibility. The sockets are nicely spaced and can cope with most over hanging plugs also fitted with surge protection. Construction is solid, the white plastic is robust and the joints well fitted and the UK 3pin fused power cable is grommeted on the input aperture. The Live/Neutral socket holds have the usual protective cover to stop little fingers putting in anything undesirable The main desirable feature is the addition of 3 USB A and 1 USB C sockets at the top of the bar- these do really give the stated fast charge on the 2 designated sockets and really do free up the power points for other things. Finally, for when you use the 3m long cable to utilise an inaccessible wall socket, there's' a ON/OFF switch on the bar to isolate it when not in use. Good Stuff- it's already in place.

I use a lot of extension leads in my house as I've only got 1 double and one single socket per room.I got this as it's a 5way gang rather than a 4 way, which makes a lot of difference for me.The product itself looks good, has both USB 2.0 / 3.0 and USB C for charging devices, rated at different voltages which is handy although I doubt anyone will ever take the time to ready the tiny writing to see what the output is.The packaging states it has a "child security door", which I can only presume means an ON/OFF switch and 850 degrees centigrade Anti-Flaming which I presume is something to do with the plastic in use, but I can't quite fathom why it would ever reach 850 degrees, should I be afraid?It looks quite pretty, the on/off switch works and the USB sockets charge, so it does what I want.

This extension lead has been a great replacement for my previous one at my nightstand, since I have many USB powered things and all of them required a separate brick.With this extension lead having USB ports built-in, that is no longer a problem and frees up the other sockets for other things, decluttering the extension lead.In addition to all of that, unlike most other USB extension leads, this one actually supports higher charging standards than just 5V 2A so you can even plug in a phone and still get 20W of charging going.The plug also has a convenient power button which allows you to switch the whole extension lead off and all of the sockets are universal, thus you can plug in EU,UK and US(probably, couldn't test) appliances.Overall, a great product and highly recommended,
