Very happy with it.
Very happy with mine. Can't see any bleeding at all (on my older LG 27s the bleeding is really obvious), really sharp and great rgb (99-100%) out of the box or with little tweaking. The led light underneath is a nice touch, the stand is a bit big in comparison with dell/LG but works great (rotates /tilts /vertical adjustment). The 1900R curve is perfect for me, I was worried that would be very aggressive but it's just subtle and perfect for desk use. After lots of research, I'm happy I've gone with this one over the lg/Dell. (got this one for just over £ 600)

Feels like the future! (As in, why dont more people have these??)
I run an older rig but bought this to "Futre Proof" myself a little and even with 2 old HD7950's I can run this thing okay. The monitor is beautiful and feels so sturdy which is great. Heads up if your buying. Measure out where you plan to put this as this thing is BIG!

Simply outstanding
Outstanding, everything I expected and more. Crystal clear display I use for 4X gaming and programming. Wish I'd have got one earlier.

Decent Panel but comes with a few drawbacks.
Aesthetics Wise:Can't say it screams quality in design, it's not something I would put into an office as it doesn't look very professional. My Dell UltraSharp U2414H had far better appealing design. The biggest issue regardless design is the size of the stand, its absolutely huge, it goes very far back, further back than it needs to, this means you can't push it well against the wall and takes up a lot of space. Also the controls for panel being at the back of the display is annoying, you need to hunt for buttons when you need to switch up some settings.Does the curve make a difference? No. Unfortunately not a whole lot of monitors out there at this size and resolution that are not curved :(If there was, I definitely would have gotten one without curve. Are the colors goods? Definitely, far better than the Dell, Dell beside the Acer looks fairly washed out. How's gaming? Challenging, 3440 x 1440p challenges my GTX 980 on most games. Ended up playing a few games at standard 1440p in order to get the frames and quality up. Tried 2560 x 1080 downsize but this monitor sucks at upscaling so that was a no no straight away.Unfortunately wasn't willing to splash over 1k on a gsync monitor. Finally the frame rates (this applies to all ultra wide 1440p freesync monitors). Only graphics cards that are able to run at this resolution at around 60FPS are 1080 and 1080ti, which obviously don't support freesync. This makes the FreeSync feature on this pretty much useless unless you're playing non graphics intensive games. Unfortunately camp red doesn't have any cards that can handle this resolution well. Hopefully VEGA will change this.Audio speakers are pretty decent at low volumes, but suck at higher volumes. I certainly wouldn't buy this monitor for audio, just get a pair of logitech speakers.Only other issue I had, and it might be isolated to my rig. When I plugged it in via DP cable, everything looked fuzzy. I was very close to returning it.Seeing as Windows 10 Creators update came out, I thought I'd update my drivers and that seems to have done the trick. It's now tack sharp.

A monitor that won't leave you disappointed!
Now, some of you may have already looked at this monitors big brother, the Acer predator X34. I did, and really wanted it, but because money is a barrier and I couldn't afford or justify splashing £900 on a monitor, I decided to look at other models. After weeks of bugging my friends and family with discussions and comparisons between different monitors, I settled for this one, the Acer XR242CK.I was anxious for it to arrive, and was worried that it just wouldn't match the image I had built up in my head of it. Safe to say, it was delivered without a scratch on the box (and this was a huge box) with everything nicely packed and looking good. I must say that Acer made a good call to pack the monitor pre-built in the box. After opening and lifting the impressively heavy and sturdy monitor out of the box, I placed it on my desk. This monitor has a pretty big footprint, with metal legs that look stunning with a very unique and adjustable mounting system (up/down/swivel/the lot). Although you can mount the monitor on a vesa mount, I wouldn't recommend it as you loose that sleek and machined stand design, plus I think you'd need a crane due to the weight of the monitor (lol). So I plugged it all in and turned it on. I was amazed. The curve, the IPS panel and the sleek design make it a truly wonderful experience. The LEDs on the bottom of the monitor are a nice touch, but I find that the lowest brightness is the only usable setting without having you eyes burned by the brightness. I did have a little play around with the display settings and it seems pretty simple and easy to follow the menus. I do like the little dimple button (which is a little similar to LG's) and makes it easy to navigate. The USB hub is handy as well and cable management is good on this monitor (although the placement of the Displayport cable makes it rather tight and difficult to bend when the monitor is on it's lowest height)Something that isn't advertised about this monitor is the refresh rate. I am happy to say that this monitor can perform at 75hz! Result! I've never used anything more that 60hz before and was quite content till I got this monitor. In the month that I've been using it I found a improvement in quality and haven't noticed any screen tearing or performance issues (I am using a gtx 980ti which runs butter smooth at the settings I like and easily push 75+ fps in the full 3440x1440 resolution).I mainly use mine for sim racing gaming and film watching. The experiences on both is amazing. I get a great field of view in games, and it feels more immersive with the curve. Films without black bars at the top and bottom are amazing, making great experience and immersion. The matte finish of the screen it nice as well (I much prefer matte over a shiny finish any day).Back light bleed on IPS monitors can be an issue, but I haven't noticed it on mine when sitting dead centre of the screen (you will if you look from an angle but why would you with this monitor?) I had no dead pixels or any other issues with my monitor that I could notice either. So, am I annoyed that I didn't buy the Predator x34 monitor instead? No. I've brought a monitor that does what I want, has a 75hz refresh rate, makes me happy, and I've saved myself £400 at the same time. I would recommend to anyone who cannot justify the price tag of the Predator x34 but really wants a ultrawide experience that'll blow your socks off!
