On Samsung S9 PLUS -- these adapters do allow for fast or even regular charging speed. Message appears on my phone every time I plug into ANY USB source to charge, that it will be SLOW CHARGING and to use the original USB cable provided by Samsung or use a different cable. I tried these adapters on various Micro-USB cables, long, short, original Samsung, 3rd party cables, etc., with original USB AC adapter, aftermarket AC adapters, car USB, power banks, etc., and all methods tell me the same thing... need a faster charging cable. I do not recommend these if your are wanting to charge your phone at a regular speed or fast charging. When I say SLOW, I mean, SLOOOOOWWW. Almost useless to get my S9 Plus a quick charge. Overnight charge is the only way I would use these again and I wouldn't even bother. My wireless charger works waaaay better for overnight.

USB "C" is awesome! It doesn't match sliced bread for ingenuity, but it's pretty close. These adapters allow me to use the plentiful Micro USB thingies I have accumulated over the years (when they stay connected). No doubt Samsung, for one, is bummed about that, but it keeps them out of the landfills and that will make a big difference to the poison levels at your local dump (you know, ground water leaching to streams and well water in the county they're located in etc.). So, to sum it all up, yeah, I like'em.

this one really work!!! I ordered other ones and they did not work , or only 1 or 2 of the five worked. but if you are looking for C adapters that work this is the one I love the chain. I hooked 1 on my phone 1on each of my portable battery power packs 1 on my Purse because I forget my charger or my bag or something so this way I can charge my phone no matter what . if you are like me you must get these and put them everywhere.

This is the second time I have bought a similar product, the first ones I bought were just cheap little plastic things that broke easily, these appear to be aluminum and seem very sturdy. The clip for the keychain was the real reason I bought these but I noticed the keychain clip doubles as a way not to lose it by clipping it to the cord because these are able to be unplugged accidentally and then they just go wherever. Fully happy with this purchase!

These stick onto the cable extremely well; others I bought didn't and that's a terrible pain in the neck. They do what they're supposed to. However, the tethers are junk and all broke almost immediately. At least there's a place to tie a tether which you can make out of unwaxed dental floss.

Recently switched from a Samsung S5 (micro USB) to a S9 (USB-C). Rather than replace all the charging cables I have acquired over the years, I bought these adapters and they work just fine. I can still unplug them (and they stay latched to the cable with the key chain tethers) and use on other devices that still rewire micro-USB jacks.

Great little adapters. Although I questioned the functionality of the clip when ordering, I found the clips are extremely useful when using on cables where needing the Micro USB port. These adapters saved me money by allowing me to re-purpose my Micro USB cables. My only complaint is I have not been able to get the phone to charge in the car when using the adapter.

After having these about a month they are amazing. The boyfriend and I clip them to the regular USB chargers so we still can connect with everything in the home and charge our phones. Beats the heck out of multiple cords and very cost effective. Def buying more!!
