I am used to Ring doorbells and their batteries generally last a fair amount of time between charges. After switching to Eufy, I noticed the included battery drained much faster than I expected. I bought this spare so I could swap them over and avoid any downtime. It does exactly what it needs to do, it charges normally and keeps the doorbell running, although the battery life still feels noticeably shorter than what I was used to with Ring. Swapping batteries has become a fairly regular task, which can get a bit inconvenient if you rely heavily on your doorbell for security notifications. The build quality seems good and the price is reasonable, so it still offers good value overall. Anyone coming from a different brand with longer lasting batteries should just be prepared for more frequent charging. Ultimately, it gets the job done and provides a practical backup for when the main battery runs low. In the future I hope to hard wire my doorbell to avoid constant swapping, but as a spare battery, this is a solid option.

The eufy Rechargeable Battery for the Doorbell Security Camera E340 makes continued usage much easier if you're unable to hardwire your Security Camera near your front door. My previous eufy Doorbell Camera, the T222 was great except having to remove it for 4/5 hours every 2 months to recharge it. With my upgraded Doorbell Camera the E340, I can simply charge the replacement when the Doorbell Security Camera battery power indicator goes orange ( under10% power ) and swap them instantly with negligible delay or disruption to front door coverage. Easy and efficient Eufy.
