This is spot on the best replacement product on the market right now for Xbox controllers. My controller grips came off the original and it was all beat up when I put the new one on. It was literally just like a brand new controller. The tools worked perfectly. It is very durable if not better than the original. It was great value for replacement part to feel is just of that as the original it fits perfectly. Everything provided was pretty straightforward and worked just as they needed to and now I have a few extra tools to throw in the toolbox as well.

Excellent replacement shell. Might as well be Microsoft brand due to the quality. The tools it came with were perfect for the job at hand and made it very easy. My only complaint is lack of replacement adhesive for the magnets, but some blue thread locker did the trick. All you need is a good YouTube video for a go by and you're set.

I expected more from a $200 controller. Unfortunately, it seems that products today are not built with the same durability as in the past. While the controller itself continued to function properly, the original shell began peeling, and the rubber components felt as though they were melting, making the controller uncomfortable to use. Rather than replacing the entire controller, I opted to replace the shell. I am very pleased with the quality of the replacement shell — it has restored the controller to a like-new condition.

Feels and looks like a brand new controller and not some off name brand. My issue was Rubber peeling off due to case cracking up underneath. Cracking up case also caused a power issue due to the flexing. The battery pack in this controller does not have a locking connector. The power contacts are secured together by the case applying pressure, so when the case cracks it causes abnormal flexing which can lead to power loss. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the tools. The T2 tool is to soft. It ok removing screws but when installing you need more torque in which this tool cannot handle. I would also recommend some alcohol wipes to clean all your buttons and electrical contacts.

I recently undertook a shell replacement for my Microsoft Elite Controller 2, primarily because the original textured hand grips were unfortunately starting to peel off. After completing the swap, I can confidently say I'm incredibly pleased with the results.The replacement shell worked exceptionally well. While the process required a bit of guidance, the video tutorial provided on the Amazon listing was invaluable and made the installation straightforward. The included tools were also very helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed to perform the operation.Visually, these replacement grips look exactly like the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Looks good, and the controller feels brand new in my hands.During the shell swap, I made a crucial discovery: the controller's internal Li-Po battery was significantly puffed out, indicating damage. This was a critical finding, and I promptly ordered a new battery from Amazon, which thankfully arrived the very next day.Now, with both the new shell and a fresh battery, my expensive controller is good as new. This shell swap was definitely worth the effort, not just for the improved grips but also for uncovering and addressing the battery issue. Highly recommended for anyone facing similar wear and tear on their Elite Controller 2!

Fit Perfect and feels as good as the original. After popping off the old face plate, this one snapped right into place.

The plastics seem good, finished product kind great. I like the included tools, the drivers are magnetic and comfortable to use, and the pry tool is robust, it won't wear out like the plastic ones I've used from other kits.Issues:1. The kit includes a T2 driver among the tools, but this has no use, it should be a T4 instead, since those are what the controller used on the thumb stick PCBs. Fortunately I had one of my own.2. The kit includes no adhesives. In my case the adhesive was not reusable for the circular magnets, so I used a dab of rubber cement on them. The rectangular magnets came up with their adhesive, so that reused well. The original shell has adhesive helping to hold it together (or to reduce rattle perhaps). This replacement shell has no adhesive. It assembled fine for me, but whether it performs the same in terms of vibration remains to be seen.3. No instructions or links. I was able to use videos for other kits, but they talk about different steps for replacing parts that this kit requires you to salvage from the old controller, so the steps are a bit different.
