Lovely story, easy to read, ideal for anyone who loves books and those who don't.
Great holiday read, plenty of emotion and a believable storyline. Realistic characters with everyday issues and imperfections.

Optimistic Easy read
Pleasant story about the relationships of a young a woman , created by her assumed hurts and her growth on learning the truth of past situations that led to believes. Story of unconditional love and acceptance of others. Bit repetitive in places but a nice easy read.

Brought back so many memories
What can I say about this book. It just brought back so many memories for me of my own mother. Though the storyline isn’t similar to what I had with my mother it just made me miss my mother. What a wonderful book. I can just imagine people from all over the world who love reading books thinking what an amazing idea and actually doing the same thing. There may even be people around the world who already do this. The story was just so true to me it’s something that could happened in real life to anyone any family.i It’s another emotional read for me and I think after this book I need to read a murder mystery just to not cry anymore because this book definitely made me cry but what a wonderful book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it. It really makes you think about yourself and how you look at people and how you look at the world.

Easy to read and a palate cleanser
This had such promise, and I really loved the sound of it.It flowed well and was a quick read. I really liked Sally and her friends. Her Dementia was written well, I feel. I enjoyed the community spirit and how everyone loved Sally. The main issue I have is that Ella could have saved all the heartache they both felt over the situation. The treatment of Sally was disproportionate to what actually happened. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave that there. I felt that Ella's reasoning could have been delved into a little deeper. I didn't like her as a character. The overall message is one of forgiveness , friendship, and how perceptions can ruin connections between people.

Beautiful...
I don't usually cry reading books. In fact, I could honestly say "never." This story, however, had me sobbing. The beauty of forgiveness, redemption, family, and belongings, all set against a backdrop of books, touched my soul. I haven't felt this seen in a very long time. By far my favorite book in a very long time.

A wonderful book
This book was heartwarming. I started something similar to what Sally did when my son was born and I too live away from my ageing parents so this story spoke to me on many levels. I’m glad I bought it.

A book that I am eager to recommend.
At first glance, you might think that nothing could be amiss in a story centered around books. And you'd be right - it’s amazing. The author has crafted a remarkable story that beautifully explores the profound relationship between a mother and her daughter. It feels as though the author invites us to experience a wide spectrum of emotions, from the thrill of joy to the depths of empathy. The story not only captivates but also resonates on a deeply personal level, making it a truly memorable read.

Charming
Quick easy read, corny at times but touching and entertaining. Fell in love with the characters. The story has what I like most, books, libraries, community, found family, mother-daughter relationships and a cat!
