I have not had this heating pad for very long, but so far the durability has been impressive. I have used it many times and it still looks and feels like new. I unplug it often and move it from room to room, and it has held up well with no signs of wear.I really like the safety feature that automatically shuts it off after two hours. You can adjust this so it turns off after 30 minutes or one hour if you prefer. For the price, the quality and how hot it gets is impressive. The length of the cord is perfect, so I have not had any issues with reaching an outlet.The size is just right, and I like that it has small beads inside to give it some weight. This helps it stay on my shoulders and not slip off easily I am not wanting to use the front clip. I have use it on my shoulders, stomach, and especially my lower back. It has helped my lower back tremendously.

I love this pad! Drapes beautifully over neck, top of shoulders and upper back. The heat is even and very healing. To soothe my upper arm, I just unsnap it and slide it around to cover the arm. I lay it opened out on the thigh muscle that was injured in a fall and the even heating has helped it heal. I also slide it down my back with the neck piece at the top to heat my low back and hips. The shape surprisingly wraps around while the neck piece reaches just above my waist. Very soothing and comforting when the aches get to me. I use it every night.

I would have given this 5 stars, but it doesn't fit around my neck very well. There is a snap in the front to hold it together, while wearing, but it is not snug enough around my neck. Due to that, the heat doesn't get to my neck the way it should. It works well and the heating part of it it excellent. The choice of different heat temps is also terrific! If it would fit around my neck tighter so that the pad was against my neck as well, it would have gotten 5 stars.
