Very light weight which is great for the hot sunny weather in south Florida. Dries very fast, easy to clean. Ordered XS for my 7yr old, 45lb 49” tall. Fits great but will room to grow. We expected much warmer weather for my daughter's first show. It did well in a 20 degree variance over a 7 hour show, WIND AND RAIN, 60°-80°. I had purchased a few different jackets as she is between sizes. She usually wears size 8 and this size 8 fit as if it were tailored. She's approximately 55 pounds and 55" tall, average to muscular build. This wasn't very warm for her but when it began fogging so much it was drizzling she stayed dry. The water beaded and fell off. Once the sun came out she was stills comfortable. It was morr than I wanted to spend on a jacket she'd only wear once but overall I am happy she was so comfortable. She felt confident and had her 3 best rides ever. The other brands we bought were beautiful classics but much too bulky for her.

My child is normally a 10/12 in regular girls clothes (Old Navy, Gap, Carter’s, etc). We ordered the XL (14/16) in this jacket, and it fit perfectly. It is a nice lightweight jacket and perfect for Florida shows and doesn’t require dry cleaning (bonus!). However, it is not a $100+ jacket...even by riding clothes standards. Even if you figure in the normal markup just for adding “riding”/“equestrian” to the description, then it’s like a $70 jacket at best. But we needed one fast, so it is what it is. It will get us through the season just fine, and we should be able to pass it down to our younger daughter to at least get a second season out of it.

Got this for my daughter's upcoming show. I had a feeling it was going to be small but I took a chance. Well, it is definitely too small. She is a pretty tall 12 year old and the XL did not fit. She got it on, but was not able to button it. Sadly, we will have to return it. Additionally, the fabric doesn't feel like a traditional show coat. It's more a nylon material than cotton. There's also a zipper underneath the buttons, FYI.

I bought this show coat for my 11 y/o granddaughter for Christmas. She is tall and slim. We tried the size large first and it was too tight through the shoulders and too short. The XL is a little big through the shoulders but the length is good and should last her, hopefully, a couple of years. My granddaughter loved the stretchy fabric and the look of this show coat.

The cut and design is good, the material is stretchy is lightweight and it looks like it will wash and wear well. However, My son is a stocky 10 year old and I bought a size L (12-14) and the jacket fits very close in the shoulders and chest, with barely any room for a shirt under neath. Also, the sleeves are curiously narrow and fit like a shirt not a jacket. However the length is correct for a riding jacket, so I'm not sure that sizing up would solve the issues of fit.

Beautiful show coat for my 10 year old daughter. Fits perfectly and gives her a confortable ride, while looking elegant for the shows.Great breathable fabric, and the best part, you just trow it in the washing machine... no dry cleaning needed.

My daughter LOVES this show coat. It is fitted and not so bulky. So in the summer months she is not so hot and it just looks so much nicer when it is fitted. She is 6 and we ordered a small ....so the other coats we have had in the past with the padded shoulders just looked bulky, uncomfortable and ride up while she rides on her, but this coat looks great and she can move and ride in it!! It looks so nice and tailored during the show. I think it is the best looking coat for the price by FAR !! Will order again and again ..
