So I’ve had intimate waxes for years but have been struggling to make an appointment for a fair few months. Strips sucked so my clever brain thought, I know I’ll get a stripless wax kit. My order arrived by Amazon magic, mere hours later.I (thankfully) decided to use the kit this morning, rather than just before seeing my FWB. I read the instructions, the kit warmed it perfectly and the first few areas worked a dream. Gaining the ill-placed confidence of a learner driver in a brand, new Porsche, I whacked a load on the very sensitive bits assuming it’d go as smoothly as the aforementioned areas.It. Did. Not. It stuck. It hurt. Panic started to creep in. I pulled, I cried, I did another area to give myself a breather. I pulled, I shrieked, and started to wonder if this may end with a walk of shame to A&E. Then the dawning horror that I’d have to search out some baby oil or similar at the shops with half a tub (not really but it may as well have been) of rock solid wax cemented to my labia.Anyway, long story short. I did get it off. Yes, it does now sting in a way not dissimilar to Origins Mint shower gel can. However I’m relatively hairless, and my heart rate has pretty much recovered. Will I use it again. Yes. Will I trim and powder next time, you betcha. Excellent product. Zero stars for user.

Great home kit
Bought this to do my underarms over the winter. Hoping that a few waxes over the winter months will slow down the hair growth for the warmer months!Kit is great for home use. Easy to use.Can do under arms fine.Tried doing legs but haven't got the knack of getting the consistency right to cover a larger area. Kept putting it on a little thin, meaning it didn't want to come off in one piece! But good kit for the price!

Not for me
I bought it to try and start waxing at home. I was not able to use it as it was too painful for me to do it on my own. I do not intend to use it, however too late to return as I have opened the wax bag.

Why didn't I buy this sooner
I wish I would have made the transition to waxing myself earlier. It hurts far less than I thought and this set is easy and well made.

Removes hair well, causes immense irritation.
This worked well and as described. The instructions were very minimal and did not explain how to remove the small bits of wax that would not come off by using previous wax pieces to remove, and did not explain how to soothe skin after waxing. I used this on my face and legs. The legs took absolute ages as you can only spread a small amount at a time, be aware that you'll have to dedicate atleast 2 hours to doing legs- it takes about 30mins+ to heat up and melt the wax, then in between applications you have to wait a tad for it not to burn the skin. When I used this on my face, it got the hairs out but left a lot of waxy residue that I had to then go in with an oil to rub off which made my sensitive skin even more red. 1 day later and my skin is still red in the areas on my face where I waxed and looks slightly bruised. I will give it a few more goes as it might just be a learning curve sort of thing. but if it keeps bruising me then I will have to return it. Will update my review then.My Pre wax routine-1. Cleanse the area with a gentle cleanser to remove any oil (as per the instructions)2. Pat dry the air well without rubbing to limit irritationWaxedPost wax routine-1. Remove excess wax on the areas as gentle and best I could2. apply aloe vera gel to wax areas liberally and leave on until mostly absorbed4. pat off excess with a cold damp paper towel3. apply cerave moisturiser (which is fragrance free).Avoided physical and chemical exfoliates for the days following.Despite all of these steps and being as sanitary as possible, I have all of this irritation that is lingering.Update: 2 days later and my legs have red irritated patches also, so it’s not just harsh on the face.Update: 4 days later - I have immense irritation where I waxed, especially on my face. I now have red bumps that are itchy.I will not feel comfortable recommending this or using it again.
