Great choice
I spent ages trying to decide which phone to go for. I am migrating from an iPhone 5S. It was between this and a Moto 4G Plus or Play. I went for this after reading lots of reviews and getting a great price on Amazon. Firstly the build quality is outstanding. It feels like it will last a long time. It's fast and the software is clutter free. The fingerprint sensor is right where you put you finger naturally and it works flawlessly. That combined with the NFC/Android Pay capability makes the phone work very well for contactless payments. Without a case the phone is quite slippy and a 5 inch screen is at the limit for my large hands. Time will tell if I get used to it. I've fumbled a few times when trying to snap pictures of the kids quickly. I could do it one handed with my old 5S. There are a couple of oddities which I'm currently working through, not sure if they are showstoppers yet so mentioning them just in case. It won't pair with my in built in Mercedes Bluetooth car telephone. It works for music but not for calls. I may decide to live with that as I have a headset as well which pairs up fine. Also, there is one parking app called Phone and Pay which won't work. The developers said they don't support Wileyfox. Odd because every other App I have works absolutely fine.Customer Service at WileyFox is very good. I had a few support questions about the Bluetooth and I got a response within minutes.UPDATE - I decided to return the phone as I couldn't get it to pair with my Bluetooth car kit. Shame as I liked this phone. I got a Moto G4 Plus instead

Outstanding Phone
This is an awesome phone for the money, no more running out of storage and suddenly missing SD card and icons as in Android 6. There are lots of good reviews on here but I thought i would add what particularly impresses me about this phone and what doesn't. The phone is beautifully made and solid and has lots of storage and is very very quick - no need to keep clearing the cache. It updated twice to the latest Android 7.1.1 without issue and Truecaller is still there for free. The best thing about this phone is its sensitivity of the receiver; I have had loads of phones over the years but this is the first one to give me a full strength and solid signal on my network (BT) inside my house and call quality is excellent. I have tried the camera and it too is pretty impressive. There is no HDR according to the professional reviewers but there are apps. to facilitate that so i will give one or two a try. There are very few things not to like, so far I have found no way of accessing the phone via the supplied cable it will charge only. I got round this using a wireless transfer but someone will post the answer 7.1.1 is pretty new ! (p.s. solved it myself - it was an incompatible usb hub not the phone - see comment for details). The supplied case has no front cover but my wife prefers this sort we will see how the screen glass wears but it does seem to be anti smear as advertised. You can't put a seperate text notification sound into Truecaller if you move to that app. for your texts, the benefits of Truecaller outway that minor issue. Lastly the screen if you enable adaptive display you then need to set the brightness to suit your eyes (once only), this threw me at first and I nearly switched the Adaptive off! This pone should do me now for a couple of years at least.

Update, do Wileyfox still exist?........ So impressed with it that I bought another one for my son to use.
Update: despite previously leaving positive reviews for this phone I would currently avoid buying until situation regarding Wileyfox becomes clearer. The screen on my second phone smashed (user error) and a repair was authorised by them and sent off a month ago. Their authorised repairer cannot get hold of the parts and Wileyfox no longer reply to either emails or phone calls so I am now without the phone (that I was previously very happy with) and have no idea whatsoever as to when OR If it will be repaired and returned to me.I am very frustrated with Wileyfox and whilst I accept that this situation would not have arisen if I had not broken the screen I no longer have any confidence in this company.-------—------------I purchased a Swift 2 Plus at the beginning of the year for myself and was so impressed with it that one it was time to replace my son's basic phone I have now bought another.Software (on both my original phone and this 2nd purchase) has now updated from CyanogenMod to a lightly modified Android 7.1.1 ie it is running stock Marshmallow with no problems encountered. Battery life has improved with all day now easily achievable and a screen on time of 2hrs 30mins up to 3hrs being regularly seen. You cannot remove the battery.Phone software now comes with a news service (bloatware) however this does not have to be subscribed to. Another downside (?) is that Marshmallow requires the Google Search Bar to be displayed on the first screen which to me is daft as not only does it use up screen space if you want to search google you can simply launch it by holding the home button. Wileyfox support have informed me that this was a google requirement so they are unable to hide the Google Search Bar like you could using CyanogenMod. You can get around this 'issue' by moving your apps to the next screen to the right and specifying the second screen as the homepage.Screenshots are now achieved by pressing the volume down and power buttons at the same time whilst under CyanogenMod it was an option from the power button menu.Fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone on the rear works really well, I only have it set up for one finger however my son has set it up for two different fingers for reasons best known to him. Android Pay works well using NFC.MicroSD Card can be used to increase internal storage with the phone software allocating using between internal storage and the additional storage seamlessly. I'm using 64gb card whilst my son is using 128gb card without any issues. Wileyfox I believe state that 32gb is supported however this is likely to be them being (over)cautious. I would however recommend using the highest speed card that you can justify to yourself. Downside of adding a MicroSD card is that unlike the original Swift (which my daughter uses) it takes up one of the sim card options. If you run a single sim card then this is not a problem but if you run two sim cards perhaps for a second (business) line or for use whilst travelling abroad then you must decide which is more important to you. The original Swift had space for a MicroSD card AND two sim cards and it is a shame that this functionality has been removed.Screen quality is perfectly acceptable; my son did want to buy the Swift 2 X which at the time of purchase of the 2nd phone costs £70 more but has a higher resolution screen however after using my phone for a few days convinced him that it wasn't worth him dipping into his savings to pay the difference.WiFi is 'only' single band 2.4ghz rather than dual band of 2.4 / 5 ghz but it is a phone so in the real world this is hardly a deal breaker as unlikely to be noticed.Telephone dialler is via Truecaller app. You do not have to sign up to the Truecaller Service for the dialler to work, it simply means you don't get the benefits of Truecaller. I do not use the Truecaller app as it uploads not just your own contact details into their database but all the details of anyone in your contacts database; their terms and conditions do say this albeit in small print and point out that you should have the permission of all your contacts before doing so. Personally I feel this is a breach of privacy after all who is going to obtain permission from all their contacts to be added to the Truecaller database ? Instead I have loaded the Google Pixel dialler which looks identical to the standard Android Lollipop dialler and works well.In conclusion, I am really happy with this phone and feel that at the price of £150 (when bought) it cannot be beaten.
