Vet Worthy Anti-Diarrhea for Cats - Cat Supplement to Help Relieve Diarrhea, Stomach Upset, and Discomfort - Pet Digestive Health Support with Kaolin and Pectin - 4oz

My 14lb senior cat had chronic watery diarrhea and vomiting. My vet gave me probiotics, after doing stool samples and then a visit, said it was probably due to stress from being recently introduced to my home and my other cat. For 2 months, I gave that to him. It didn't work. Then the vet gave me metronidazole. I gave that to him for a month to no avail. Then I tried psyllium fiber, (that slowed and made it thicker, but still did not work.) Sadly, In the meantime, my other cat got sick and passed away. I had read to NOT give cats kaopectate because it contained aspirin and toxic to cats. I was besides myself, and searched on Amazon for anti-diarrheal for cats and found this product. Made sure the ingredients did NOT contain aspirin. I added 1 tsp to a half container of Sheba perfect portion with aprx 1tbs of water and blended it. My cat ate it without a problem. His next BM was "almost" normal then he went again a couple hrs later and it was diarrhea again so I gave him the other half of the wet food, 1tsp of the Vet Worthy Anti-diarrhea and 1tbsp of water, blended. (This was aprx 12 hrs later) And his BM was just about normal. It has been 4 days now, I haven't given him anymore since that 1st day. His BM is now normal. No vomiting either. His coat is shiny again. I wish I knew about this in the beginning, maybe my other sweet cat would not have gotten sick and died. 😪

After utilizing a probiotic oral paste administered through a self contained dispenser for 3-4 days with no improvement,we tried the Vet Worthy anti diarrheal.In conjunction with sensitive stomach kibble, the norm has returned after 3-4 days of treatment.Very pleased. We utilized half the dose on a weight basis.

Product is as shown so no pic necessary.I adopted a 4 yr old cat from shelter last yr that came with extreme diarrhea issues I wasn’t informed of, ugh! After taking to vet getting blood work and expensive liquid meds it still didn’t help. I was at my wits end for several months. I kept searching for a product to help with her issue when I came across this. For the price I thought what the heck I’ll try it. I stopped picking up the expensive med at the pharmacy, placed an order for a cheaper pill through an online pharmacy. I put Vet Worthy directly in her sensitive stomach wet food in the am and pm. I only give her about a Tblsp of wet food with a tsp of Vet Worthy. She has dry Blue Buffalo sensitive stomach food too to munch on during the day. I can say that this product and the Prednisolone 1/2 pill given twice a day has helped her about 80% which I will take! I started my cat on both items about the same time. She still has soft stools in her litter box but the diarrhea drips & big dollops everywhere is gone. I was wiping up and mopping everyday for months and ready to pull my hair out. I have 4 other cats and never dealt with this b4.So as an stand alone product to use on your cat for diahhrea I can’t say it totally works as I give my cat pills and sensitive food, so I gave it 4 stars. It’s worth trying!

Just because it didn't work for my cat, doesn't mean it won't work for yours.

So it’s only been 3 days since I’ve been using it but I have tried so many other brands for anti diarrhea for my cat... he is so resistant to taking medicine so I always mix it in his food & he never likes the taste of any of them but this is the first Medicine I have found that he will finish his entire plate of food so the scent & flavor for cats this must be the best one I have found yet ...I bought this because my cat will constantly Shart.. (fart&poop) several times a day & this has helped so much I’m not running around the house finding dollops of poo anymore! It’s only been 3 days but so far so good

Beware! My 14 year old Ragdoll started having diarrhea. I immediately ordered this, because I was unable to get my Pro-pectalin quickly and this has the same two main ingredients and was next-day delivery. I put 5ml into the syringe, she swallowed it right down. She immediately ran into our laundry room and violently vomited twice, completely emptying her stomach. Thinking I'd given it too soon after her eating or that it was too warm from being outside, I withheld food for a couple of hours and put it in the fridge. I then tried again, less than half of the 5ml this time. Exact same response! Hit the floor running, and vomited 3 times. It's in the garbage, money wasted.

Y’all don’t even know the physical relief I feel right now just cause the cat is eating it. She’s the pickiest cat on the planet. I don’t know if it works yet but just the fact that’s she’s eating the medicine is giving me hope. I’ve been trapped in a tunnel for so long with no light in sight because of her diarrhea farts making me wash bed sheets daily for so, so long. The vets don’t know what’s wrong and want to charge thousands of dollars in tests that only maybe might show something, Texas is a loathsome place, so I’m hoping it’s just the stress of moving and her bowel irritation /inflammation once starred never got a chance to calm down.

I received this product yesterday and my cat seems to tolerate the taste pretty well and diarrhea seems to be under control. The problem I have with it is that it arrived with the seal in place but no lid. I guess I have to order another one so I’ll have a lid. Frustrating!
