Finally was able to try this out, it’s Smoky and delicious and has a nice crunch too. It worked and tasted great with my food. The bean aftertaste isn’t bad but might bother you depending on what you put it in.

Vegan. I love this bacon bits! They taste great in mac and cheese (vegan), salads, etc.

These bacon bits have really good flavor and work well on a variety of foods. The only downside is they’re a little too crunchy, which makes the texture slightly tougher than expected. Still a solid and tasty topping overall.

For those of us plant based and looking for a healthier alternative to bacon, these are delicious. The fact that they are made from pinto beans is mind blowing. I’ve not only used them in wedged salads, potato casseroles and baked potatoes but I’ve added them to bean recipes for that added smoky flavor.

I don’t make my giant salads without it. I try to eat a huge green salad at least 5 days a week. I put everything you can name in it. Baconless has become one of my staples, and I never want to be without it. I used to eat real bacon bits, but decided to return to WFPB eating. Therefore, bacon in any form is out…lol …But guess what? I don’t even miss it. This is a worthy substitute.

They don’t taste bad, but they don’t taste anything like bacon. It tastes EXACTLY like a pinto bean. I like the fake bacon bits better.

Great on salads or soups. Nice crunch.

The package had a hole punch at bottom that I noticed only after I had opened and tried. There was an odd taste so I threw away.
