Corelle Coordinates Abundance Melamine Spoon Rest  Looks great on the stove or hanging on the wall. I got three in different patterns. Fits everything from a tea spoon to a wooden spoon. The durable melamine is not likely to break if it drops on the floor. Ceramics and even Corelle are subject to breakage if dropped. Lightweight and lovely to look at. Keep it away from open flame and hot range elements. Unlike ceramics and Corelle, it is subject to discoloration and even melting under high heat conditions. An inexpensive accent for a functional kitchen. UPDATE FOLLOWS: I've had them a year and a half now. They regularly go through the dishwasher yet still look great on my wall. I absolutely love them. A great buy. Did I mention you can drop them (I now know from experience) and they don't break!!!! A real plus for me.

It’s nice quality & pretty, but not crazy about the form as a Spoon Rest. Using it to hold a Brillo Pad, perfect size. Washes well in the dishwasher.

My father in-law already has a rooster spoon rest but the tail part of the spoon broke off so I decided to get this to replace the one he has. This one is actually made of plastic, which I'm so relieved about, so my father in-law can't break this one. The picture of the roosters is really clear and the color of the spoon rest is like an off-white color.

This spoon rest is melamine so it won't break like glass. One of the best features is the depth; great for big spoons. I selected this item for my French Country Kitchen and the color is perfect. I wouldn't recommend using it in the dishwasher unless it's on the top rack only. Nevertheless, I would recommend this product.

Very nice melamine (or something similar) spoon rest. But I wish the bowl part wasn't so deep - the way it's designed, there's no room for a couple of spoons to share the space, it's just one at a time. Next time I'll look for shallower edges in a spoon rest, a wider stem part, and possibly one with double wells.

My old spoon rest was getting pretty old and so I decided to look on amazon for a new one; I found this one and although it's a bit larger than the old one, it also holds my spatula better because it is bigger. It will hold two spoons or a spoon and spatula without any trouble. I love the design, and may get some glasses also. Check the size, because it my be a little large for the space you have committed to your spoon rest, but other than that I think you will be pleased as I was.

Love the size, the looks, very light weight and sturdy. This was purchased as a Christmas gift so it looks very easy to clean but can’t confirm

I was expecting ceramic when I bought this and was surprised to find that it was plastic. Although ceramic is nice, I think the plastic will prove better, as my last ceramic one got broken from being dropped. It is a very thick plastic so it doesn't feel cheaply made.
