I found this brand by accident and they have been my favorite ever since. I was having hot flashes every hour while hormones were re balancing and since the first day eating these I have never had one since! I eat protein bars because I am a vegetarian and try to get enough plant protein every day. I really like these because of the way that they make me feel. I have many food sensitivities that cause headaches, hives, and histamine intolerance, so finding out that these not only didn’t upset the sensitivities, but they improved my health by contributing to hormone balance, or at least getting rid of hot flashes, satisfying cravings With a healthier option, and I feel like it has added to my overall energy.Now some of the flavors are not my favorite, but I think it has to do with everyone’s personal preference. These are very chewy they kind of remind me of taffy in a way, they are soft and easy to chew unlike some protein bars that you know are very hard like the Costco brand, but these are soft, but very chewy I always need a glass of water after eating this or prior to it. My favorite flavor is get in my tummy, peanut butter and jelly, but I do like the donut flavor as well as I try to eat non-chocolate options just for personal flavor preference.

Smoother Fudge&PB is what I expected from a “Reese’s” combo and then exploded with chocolate and peanut butter richness, while somehow being very equally balanced in both.Texture & consistency is a soft, easy, nearly dough like chewy. Hallelujah these are not gritty, grainy, tough, or anything unpleasant tbh, unlike most in its likeness that try to make a guiltless dessert/protein snack/health bars.Size is small, IMO: L2”xW2”H.25” roughlyThey’re expensive but when you consider this is truly a 10/10 in every way, you can more easily justify the price point.My daughter is 10, very picky, and she loved this flavor! Which is excellent cause finding honestly good and filling bars for her midday snacks has been an unsuccessful mission until these.Pb&J will be here tomorrow so I’ll let you know how it goes!Update on PB&J: my daughter thought this flavor is just ok, would not buy this flavor again.

These are some of the BEST bars I have ever had. I especially enjoy that the ingredients are all listed and note that there are no sugar alcohols (which usually I avoid at all costs). It’s so wonderful to have found a TRU-ly delicious protein bar that feels like a little sweet treat as well. Some bars taste like chalk or have so much junk in them, you may as well eat a candy bar (esp with low protein).Low spoonies, unite! These are great for low-energy, no cooking, just grab-and-go snack!

I originally got a box of these as a gift. I liked them so much I ordered more for myself. They are individually wrapped so can be carried in a lunch or your pocket. The texture is nice, and it doesn't crumble when eaten. They are 100% plant-based, with only 8 grams of sugar per bar and 12 grams of protein. They are a good choice of people who have gluten or dairy allergies. I have already recommended it to friends.

To me this doesn’t taste like cookies and cream because there’s not enough cream to make it cookies and cream, but it does taste like an Oreo cookie to me. It’s just like a soft perfectly textured Oreo cookie.I don’t taste the chemical flavor that everyone keeps talking about.? I’m Dominican and I love cassava so that could be why I love this because it has tapioca and cassava in it, but I tried this at a conference and I loved it so much I bought the box and I’m so grateful that I did because I think this is delicious. I’m just concerned. I’m gonna eat the whole box so I have to hide them throughout the house

Delicious. Love the texture and consistency of the TruBars. This flavor is one of our favorites. And even the hubby, who is sometimes suspicious of/turns his nose up at plant-based protein, loves these!

PROS:INGREDIENTS - it has a lot of ingredients I want and doesn't have the chemicals I don't want. So definitely five stars there.TASTE - OK I KNOW we all would like something that tastes like dessert and I don't know of any protein bar who can trick me into believing it's actual cookie dough, but I like the taste and one of these bars and a glass of almond coconut milk and my sweet tooth is satisfied and I feel noble for eating one of these bars instead of ice cream or cake, smile emoji.NUTRITION - Really good for one bar. I am always low in potassium and few bars have very much at all, but I like the fact it has a good amount of iron, protein and a LOW amount of salt and no cholesterol.TEXTURE - I didn't find it dry, but then I did have almond coconut milk with it. For me, dryness NOT a problem.COST - I did get these while they were on sale, but even at regular price, I would get again. If you haven't noticed, everything is going up. Where I would spend 1.50 for a decent protein bar, hard to find that these days. I am glad I got to TRY these while on sale, because you never know.BOTTOMLINE: I don't know about the other flavors, as cookie dough is the only one I've had so far, but would definitely reorder.

This brand is my go to for a quick snack or meal replacement. The taste and quality is delicious. This was my first time trying this flavor and I’m happy!
