What a great laundry basket! It holds a lot, is lightweight but very sturdy -- almost indestructible! I love the way it curves to get close to your body when carrying a full basket up the stairs and the handles allow you to pull them together so you can carry it with one hand. It washes easily and is much better than hard plastic, rigid baskets which are so hard to manage carrying up stairs and still being able to see the steps. I feel much safer using this basket. I've had mine for a number of years and bought this one for a friend. They just don't wear out, and my friend loves hers as well! Love the blue color, too -- never shows dirt!

Handles break apart and get lost easily. Painful to carry without the plastic handles. Are there replacement handles? At first the handle covers pop loose but quickly popped back together.June 2016. Here we are 2 years later and these laundry baskets are still prefect!!! Couldn't be happier. They get tons of use hauling everything you can imagine including lots of laundry, and not a crack. Handle covers still pop loose now and then, but pop right back together and hold. Yay Rubbermaid!!!

I've been on a hunt for a while to find a laundry basket that wouldn't break after being filled with loads of laundry. As a guy, I don’t do laundry often; I mostly overstuff the laundry basket and do most of the laundry at once. I have now owned this basket since July 25, 2013 (currently January 28, 2014). The basket has yet to crack or break. The basket is pliable and durable due to its composition of a hard plastic. My only complaint is that eventually the handles begin to come off, though I've been able to clip them back on. Just note, when I said overstuff, I meant it. I literally fill the basket until it can no longer be filled with laundry. So in short, this basket is definitely a great inexpensive long-term laundry basket, especially for guys like me.Pros:- Durable- Pliable- Nice, simplistic designCons:- Handles eventually come off (over time), but can be clipped back onIf you found this review to be helpful, please let me know :).

Great product. I like that they are flexible and taller than regular laundry baskets. Personally I use them for storage of bedding in a deep closet- they hold much more than regular laundry baskets and slide easily on the shelves.I've been using the taller laundry hamper of this line for the last 15 years and keep replacing my worn out ones with the same one. When in college, hauling the overstuffed hamper to and from the laundry mat, the handles eventually popped off and the plastic around them gave out. But, again loving the flexible structure of the product, I would always replace with the same style. Since college I've had the same hamper last the last 7 years. Guess I just love the flexible plastic/rubber these products are made of! Very functional.My only complaint is with Amazon shipping- not the product. The two baskets shipped bottom-to-bottom in a large box, as opposed to being stacked into one another and shipped in a smaller box. Doesn't seem like the best option for shipping.

I have trouble carrying big, rigid baskets, always scraping my knuckles on doorways so I thought this would be nice. I carry laundry to my basement laundry room every morning, clean out pockets, spray stains and sort it into a few bins. I do small loads so this would be a good size for me to carry them up and down the steps. It does work. However, it stays collapsed to the point that it's not very easy to fill up with items and one of the handles fell off when I took it out of the box. I snapped it back on but it falls off frequently. I ended up sticking with a more rigid basket for laundry and using this to store all of my Total Gym accessories in! It sits in the corner of my workout room and I can easily grab an attachment, do my workout and drop it back into the basket, which is help open by the other spare parts. I'm careful not to bang the metal parts around getting them into and out of the basket and it's easy to pick up and move when I clean the floor. The color is nice, too. :-)

I had one of these Rubbermaid baskets that I purchased years ago and it was great. The handle finally broke so I purchased this one thinking that it would be of similar quality. This product, even though it is still made by Rubbermaid, is very cheap and flimsy! The product quality over time has definitely gone down.

I had a basket like this last me over 12 years until the handles broke too badly to repair. I looked in several stores but could not find this type of laundry carrier. I purchased 3 other laundry baskets each a different type & I was so disappointed I continued to look for this style. I was delighted to find this on Amazon. It came a few minutes ago & looks as sturdy as the one I had before. Both my old basket & this one are Rubbermaid Brand, a name experience has proven I can trust. I live in a 2nd floor apt & must carry laundry down & up the stairs. This is a convenient, comfortable & safe style of laundry carrier. Well worth every penny spent!

The handle broke rendering it useless and destined for landfill.
