I BOUGHT THIS SET NOT REALLY HAVING MUCH CONFIDENCE THEY WOULD HOLD UP AFTER READING SEVERAL REVIEWS ABOUT THE MATERIAL OF THE PRODUCTS BEING MADE OF CHEAP PLASTIC AND NOT LASTING LONG OR DOING THE JOB. I REALLY ONLY NEEDED A BRUSH BECAUSE I HAD PUT MY GIRLS BRUSH UP SOMEWHERE AND COULD NOT FIND IT. THE BRUSH I HAVE HAD AND USED FOR YEARS WAS A 30-40.00 LARGE SIZE FURminator Long Hair Dog Deshedding Tool. MY DOG WOULD LET ME BRUSH HER WITH IT BUT NOT VERY LONG. SHE WOULD DECIDE SHE HAD ENOUGH AND STAND UP TO WALK AWAY. BUT OF COURSE THIS TYPE OF BRUSH IS A HARD METAL FOR RAKING. WHEN I OPENED UP THE BOX I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. ,ALL THESE TOOLS FOR AROUND 20.00. I IMMEDIATELY WENT OVER TO MY FUR BABY AND STARTED BRUSHING HER TO SEE WHAT SHE WOULD THINK OF IT. AND AGAIN, WOW! SHE ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THE FEELING OF THIS BRUSH. I BRUSHED HER FOR A LONG WHILE. IT RELAXED HER SO MUCH ONCE I FINISHED. SHE COULDNT HOLD HER EYES OPEN AND IMMEDIATELY FELL ASLEEP SO WAS SOO RELAXED. I AM COMPLETELY SOLD. I WISH I HAD COME ACROSS THIS SET EARLIER. THE BRUSH IS EASY TO USE AND GENTLE YET EFFECTIVE FOR DESHEDDING. MAKES HER COAT SHINY. SO EASY TO REMOVE THE HAIR FROM THE BRUSH. AS FAR AS THE PRODUCT MATERIAL. I HONESTLY DONT SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT. MAKES IT EASIER AND LIGHTER.. MORE COMFORTABLE TO HOLD. I CANNOT SEE THESE JUST BREAKING UNLESS YOU ARE BEING VERY ROUGH WITH THEM OR THE DOG GETS A HOLD AND CHEWS THEM UP. I DEFINITY RECOMMEND THIS SET. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY. THEN SOME. YOUR DOG WILL LOVE BEING BRUSHED WITH THIS BRUSH. JUST BUY IT.

WOW!!!I have a German shedder.. These 2 brushes I have used, haven't tried the rubber thing, but the amount of fur that I got off of my girl has shocked me. I am still skeptical about the one brush and I'm not sure what it is actually called, but the one that has the metal hook teeth. I'm not sure if it is breaking, cutting, or ripping the hair out or if it's just getting the shedding hair out. I spray her fur lightly with water before I brush her, and I normally do not have a problem with her fur, but with the one I am talking about, as I went to run it through down her back, it surprised us both because of the tug. She doesn't have tangled or matted fur either. So I'm not going to use the one until I find out what exactly it's doing to her hair. The retractable brush is awesome. So easy to clean and it gets a whole lot off of her. It also saves a lot of time, because you don't have to dig the hair out. They seem well made and have comfortable handles. All in all I think this was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend. Especially if you have a dog with lots of shedding.

I have tried numerous different types of dog brushes and combs on my dog, she has hated all of them. This was my final option. To my everlasting surprise she LOVES the weirdly shaped brush. She sits/lays and allows me to brush her. I have never used this type of brush before. It runs smoothly over her coat, makes no noise, and quickly and easily removes all the loose fur that would normally be on my floor and furniture. My dog and I are absolutely amazed and happy with this brush!!!

Only giving it a 4 right now because I’ve only used one out of three brushes, but I’m already super impressed! 1. Great price! 2. Good quality! 3. Easy to use! I have a German shepherd, mastiff mix 2 year old…who sheds like it’s her job. I love my dog, but I do NOT love having her hair everywhere. I vacuum daily, and she still sheds enough to create a miniature version of herself by the next day. She also holds onto a stinky smell, even with regular bathing. Something had to give, so I got on here and came upon this product, and decided to give it a go…the picture is from 5 minutes of brushing…insane!!!!

Bought this for duel purpose my short haired dog and long haired cat. Perfect combo! My kids and wife could not believe how well it worked especially for the cat. Definitely worth the buy. How it holds up overtime we shall see but so far worth it.

This is the best bang for your buck you can ask for. I acquired an 8-year-old German Shepherd who had years of underfur growth that was super thick. I started with the rake and with the thickest part removed I could then go to the thinner comb and the thinner retractable brush and now we can come through it with ease and then I got some other items I didn't even want or need but they're very useful too.

I got an Aussie (Australian Shepard) and he is hairy! He got that undercoat and I'm telling you I deal with hair on the daily. I love my little man but I could go without the hair. These gadgets have helped me big time on the scale of how much I'm getting in my sweeper daily. I use them every other week and it really gets that dead undercoat out and minimizes the shedding big time. I get compliments of the shine of his coat and how oft he is all the time and I know it's from routinely brushing him. My toddler (4 year old) brushes him as well and it's so much fun to get her involved with her pup. The quality and price of these are hard to come by and they are so easy to use; I didn't have to ready or watch anything to get the hang of it. It doesn't hurt him and it works so well.

Absolutely satisfied with this!! I have a german shepherd her comb broke and i was hesitant with this comb but did try it and i am very satisfied, i think i comb her way faster than the old one. She looks so much cleaner and im just happy with less shedding in the house. Definitely will recommend it!
