Very easy to use and straight forward. Best for taking away with me to hotels, apartments or for tvs that can't screen mirror. Simply plug and play. Good quality cable, lives in my backpack folded up and no issues so far.

I bought this cable specifically to be able to use my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 like a PC on my TV and wow, it's fantastic.The cable itself feels very good quality, although the HDMI end seemed a little scratched to me, perhaps mine was someone else's return?To use DeX, simply plug one end into your TV and the other end into your phone and you will get a message on your phone asking if you would like to mirror your screen or use DeX. Select DeX and your TV will be showing a desktop, much like the way Windows or Linux does, but from your phone. All your apps are available in the app drawer still. Some are optimised to use the full screen, otherwise they will simply be in a window the shape of your phone screen and you can still use them.The phone itself is now your trackpad. Initially mine was very high sensitivity, but when I turned it down I found I was having to do multiple swipes to get from one side of the TV to the other. If something needs typing, your keyboard pops up on your phone and you can type away. If you happen to have Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, you can connect these in for an even better experience.My TV is 4K, but my understanding DeX will only run at 1080p through a cable. You need the official Samsung dock to get 4K. This didn't bother me as the whole thing looked amazing, especially when playing some of the 4K HDR footage I'd taken on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9.Highly recommended.

doesn't seem to work with my macbook pro, but works well with my HTC phone

Cable works on my note 8 but at the phone end you have to bend it up and support it on the cable and the slightest movement will cause the connection to be lost not what I expected to be doing with a brand new phone and cableBest thing you can do with this cables is cut it up and bin it garbage

product is good can view pictures and videos on samsung s9 BUT when you try to stream NETFLIX or AMAZON PRIME VIDEO doesn't work, comes up error decryption failure. Been onto amazon help line and the prime app is not set up to work with android to hdmi cable!!
