I thought I ordered the outdoor candles with the remote, but made a mistake. I was going to return these because the lack of remote, but decided to give them a shot. I decided to keep them because the timer feature is great. I turned them on at 630p the first evening, their off when I wake in the morning, then back on when I get home from work. Very nice ambiance for our patio. I love the wax battery-operated candles, but I had already read a few reviews from people leaving the candles in the window and coming back to droopy, disfigured zombies. If you are using batter-operated candles outside make sure you get some like these that are entirely plastic.

Replacing the broken one!
Here’s the deal. I’ve shopped amazon for years. This might be my very first review, ever. I live in Phoenix and it took me a few times to realize all these “real wax” candles are NOT what I need. I need the plastic that will withstand the hell fire on earth here. These are awesome. 1)they light up from bottom to top, giving you more light. 2)good flicker and they’re bright, you don’t need 10 of them to see 3)the customer service with these guys was A1. I’m that person that usually immediately throws away the box and everything after I get my stuff. But all the packaging was still next to me while I put batteries in these guys. One didn’t work. Pissed off ingrabbed the box so I could add it to the other sorry stuff I had to return but they added a note to have me contact them if there was an issue. So I did(nobody wants to drive to Kohl’s or wherever to annoyingly return stuff, right?) Mark emailed me right away and took care of it. I will probably only ever buy my candles from this company because they were on point! They saved me a trip to returning it. That alone is worth $20 to me. I’m at home during this 2020 teaching kids at home stuff. I don’t have time to be messing around returning some plastic candles! Lol. Thank you to this company and their great customer service. Why can’t everyone be like this?

Not so good
I had a 3 pack. When one burned out I bought this 4 pack. However, 2 candles have burnt out. We live in rainy Portland so figured these would last. Didn’t even last 2 months when 2 of them grunt out.The 3 pack I moved to our covered patio. When I let the burned out candle dry out it is now working again. Good news, all 3 are working. However, these new candles have not come back so I only have 2 of the 4 candles working. It is late December and we are scheduled for heavy rain this weekend so we’ll see how they hold up.Bottom line: Try a different company

Perfect for outdoors
I received my candles several days ago and I have enjoyed using them. They are perfect for outdoors because you set the timer and the candles do the rest. They stay on for 6 hours and come back on at the same time the next night. They are light weight, but appear to be very sturdy. They will also be handy if the power goes out. No more candles burning all over the house, just bring these in the house and you have light. They give off a nice glow that illuminates the area. I can't wait to use them for late night summer evenings in the yard.

They are much better than I expected
I just love them! We had a very worm Christmas decoration, and know thanks to the versatility of this candles, our back yard looks so beautiful, because I put on the top of them Mexican clay lanterns, JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!

Best battery operated candles ever!
I use them in the home. They give really nice ambient light, the batteries last very long and they are so easy to set!Also, they have great customer service! Mark is awesome!

Great for outside
We purchased these candles to be placed outside. The battery compartment is very secure and the candles last for a long time on one charge of the rechargeable batteries that we use.

excelent purchase
These candles automatically come on at night and the batteries seem to last forever. It would be nice if the light was a bit brighter. I might just need to replace the rechargeable batteries. I am very pleased with this purchase. Operation is easy and straight forward.
