Best cat fountain I've ever owned
Pros:1. Every feature works perfectly.2. Pump is silent.3. Very easy to clean.4. Sensitivity in the sensor mode is perfect!5. Water flow from the waterfall is just right. Creating just the right amount of bubbles on the water surface.6. The appearance is modern and aesthetically pleasing.7. Recharge time from 10% to 100% is 4 hours and 40 minutes (with the unit turned off). The battery needs to be recharged every 16 to 20 days.8. All the modes are accessible from the dial. No need to plug or unplug the cord to change from continuous to sensor mode.Cons:1. Recharge indicator is displayed at 10%. I believe this should be 15% like other rechargeable devices.2. As my unit is kept in the bathroom, a plug should be provided for the charging port on the dock to prevent moisture condensation build up. I installed a stick-on USB type C dust cover over the port (see photo) which solved the problem.General notes:1. The company states to replace the filters every 2 weeks, but the manual states every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the number of pets.2. Clean the pump every 2 weeks (I assume this also depends on the number of cats using the fountain).3. Regularly clean the container and stainless steel tray for the ideal water purity. With all this in mind, my recommendation for a single cat user is:1. Replace the filters once a month.2. Clean the pump once or twice a month.3. Clean the stainless steel tray weekly.4. Change the water out with new water weekly.5. Recharge the battery twice a month (or as needed). As for anyone stating this fountain is too pricey, check the closet competition, and you will find this is a steal! For a new product like this, the biggest question is how long will it last?

Unique Design.. Great Fountain!
The design of this fountain is very unique. The cats took to it right away and replacement filters were easy to find/purchase on Amazon. The fountain is not noisy... AT ALL. The trickling of the water is actually all I hear (and it's strangely relaxing). The cleaning process is fairly easy but I recommend giving the whole fountain a wash weekly to maintain freshness and prevent slime if you have cats that seem to be a bit messy (I have a kitten who loves to dip her paw in the fountain and then lick the water from her paw... she's special. The others tend to drop food in it for fun?). I also like the tab feature that keeps the lid on. I have a cat that likes to dismantle fountains. Why? Well... he's a cat. He does what he wants to do. He hasn't been able to rip the top of this one though! This has been the quietest fountain I have purchased to date and it's easier to clean as well. I recommend this fountain not just because it is pretty aesthetically pleasing but also because of its overall performance.

Failed after one month
This fountain completely stopped working after one month. The unit does not turn on any more, the display remains off, water does not flow. It is this way with a fully charged battery or plugged in to a power source. The motion detection mode could be better. While it would activate at my cat's presence, the fountain stops while she is drinking. How rude! I guess she is not moving enough to keep it activated. It should detect a cat is in front of the unit, and/or the time on should be longer.UPDATE, 2024-06-26: Kudos to the seller for reaching out and offering me a full refund of the failed product. Adding two stars.I think the reason this product failed is because water got into the battery/base. For some reason, after weeks of operation, water was not draining from the tray, unbeknownst to me, which caused water to overflow external to the unit. Once found, I cleaned everything up, disassembled/reassembled. I did not find the cause. This is the point the unit no longer worked. I think the battery/base should be better sealed and protected from water infiltration. It is a water pump after all and batteries and water don't mix well.UPDATE, 2024-07-18. Seller has not issued a refund after offering to do so. They do not respond to messages I have sent to them. Removing two stars.

Beautiful, BUT…
I’m generally quite impressed with this item EXCEPT…for the charging. It’s ABSURDLY slow. I’ve never had a device that needs so much time to charge. I was actually convinced it was not charging but kept it plugged in all night out of hope. I was happy to see it had gained almost 20 points the next morning, though. Even so, it’s STILL not fully charged after an entire night. Unfortunately, I’m still considering whether to keep it or return it simply because of this issue. I’m worried that the cordless functioning won’t last long enough to justify the time and effort I’ll have to spend to keep it charged. And I specifically didn’t want another cord in my life. Other than that, it’s almost perfect. Is there a work around for this charging problem. A different cable maybe? Don’t get me wrong, I really want to love it and mostly do. (I mainly want my cats to love it, though. Their vote is still pending.)UPDATE: After a couple of months in use, I wanted to come back and say how very happy I am with this. My cats finally took to it. We charge and clean it every 7 days like clockwork and the routine has clicked in. It even seems to charge much faster now than the initial charge. 5-6 hours max. It’s a beautiful, silent fountain and I’m very glad I persevered with it. I would highly recommend it.
