I bought this to install cabinet hardware on new cabinets. It was easy to use and durable. The handles look perfect and it delivered a consistent result.

Bought the plastic (cheaper) version and it worked quite well. Took a little bit of time understanding the setup but once you transfer your measurements to the jig it's pretty straightforward in getting the holes drilled. Couple words of advice: 1) always double check where you want to drill your holes, especially the cabinet doors, 2) for clean holes on the opposite of your door/drawer it's best to FIRMLY hold a piece of wood on the underside of the door/drawer (if possible a clamp works best) and drill through the door/drawer and into the wood, 3) while the metal knobs used to tighten the sliders do a decent job to align your drill take extra care you are drilling straight and plum (having another set of eyes helps getting the drill perpendicular to the surface to be drilled). Failure to do so will make it difficult to align your drilled hole with the hole in your door handle.If I was going to do more than the one job I bought this for I'd consider one of the other upgraded options.

This tool is a must have of you have multiple handles to install. The precision of this tool is spot on, and the quality is surprisingly very good. I did our whole kitchen and both bathroom vanities and the results are awesome. It takes a little time to get the settings just right, but once you do,the process goes fast. Definitely recommend this product.

One of the best tools I bought. So easy to use save you so much time is super functional and works well on all kinds of drawers and doors and other things you need to drill holes.. You can use it as absolute great. It works well. Saves your time from measuring and redoing everything and absolute awesome.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something that was made with quality but low priced. This delivered. It is absolutely nerve-wracking when you think about drilling holes in your $5,000+ cabinets. This made it so easy. Set up was quick and once I got it dialed in, it was easy to get all of the holes drilled and drilled accurately. This is a must have for any DIY people out there.

I ordered the plastic model assuming that it would be good enough for the assembly and completion of this project. And I am very impressed. The durability is everything it should be. Very precise measuring device, will make the job so simple that anyone can do it. I give it an A++

Not too sure about the plastic. Pieces fit well together but I'm not sure that this will hold up to repeated use. Intuitive enough to set up but i quickly discovered that there is a small ledge on the main blue plastic piece that is approximately 1/4" taller offset than the actual plane that you are supposed to rest on the cabinet door/drawer edge. If your not careful, this can get overlooked and some of the mounting holes will be off. My kit is new, so the pieces fit tightly and it worked OK, but i suspect that the tightening nuts and slides will get sloppy over time. Inexpensive unit, and good for a DIY job or two, but probably not for a craftsman. Good enough for small jobs, accurate enough and a good kit with 3 different drill bits included.

Makes installing cabinet hardware so much easier and faster. We had 46 knobs and pulls to install. Knobs are super easy. Set the location once and you're set for both right and left doors. All knobs perfectly in line. Pulls are a little trickier, especially on drawers. We had drawers of different sizes so there were adjustments needed. But in the end everything came out perfect. A huge time saver!
