More of the same sound.
No bad thing. If you liked the first album you'll like this one. Top 30 hit 'Girl Power' is probably the best track. Great lyrics, "I wanna be evil I wanna be bad, I wanna drive my next door neighbours mad". Not an album to play over and over continuously as it might prove a little wearing, but once in a while to blow away the cobwebs. Where are you now ladies?

Shampoo - Girl Power
I chose this rating because I`m not heavily into Rock, which is what there music is. This type of music appeals more to the rock and indie type. The item arrived quickly with no problems.

republica meets billie (not in a good way)
Having received so much hype in the music press prior to its long awaited release, i put this album into my CD player with more than a little apprehension. The many glowing reviews telling of its punchy teenage tunes full of the modern female attitude that was sweeping the nation surely could not be lived up to i thought.I was wrong. This record is a triumph. Brimful of massive hooks and beautifully crafted lyrics (the refrain from "Girl Power" is still ringing in my head five years on), make it a truly landmark album. The influences are clear to see, from the chunky guitar on "I know what boys like" pioneered by the Rolling Stones to the Pink-Floyd-esque "Don't call me babe".These talented ladies will soar through the charts and to the hearts of every music lover, brushing aside bands like oasis and radiohead to reach the hallowed zenith that only B'witched and Cleopatra have ever touched.I was once a man who hated the "Girl Power" craze sweeping the country. This album makes me want to save up and get my gender changed.Shampoo are a band who you won't be able to keep out of your hair.Buy this album now and change your life/gender forever.Thank you girls , thank you.The song, 'hot shot city', was particularly good.
