Good for bursts of gaming on a budget; mediocre otherwise
The Astro A10 (Gen 2) really surprised me when it first arrived. A sleek and modern design with a flip-to-mute microphone and detachable cable? Awesome. They worked great the first few days, but they suddenly started to feel uncomfortable. I noticed that when I would wear them for 2 hours or longer, they would start to feel bad to the point where they would actually be painful to wear. I haven't had this issue happen with any other over-ear headphones, and this experience left me wondering if these really are over-ear headphones. The size of the cups is a bit too small in my opinion, and in tandem with the relatively high clamping force, they feel unusable after a few hours through a session.
